Climbing Orchid Bundle with Fresh Florals Card

The Climbing Orchid stamp set is one of my Favs from the new 2017-2018 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue (Page 21). This card is my first play with it and I have so many more ideas in my head to make and share with you really soon.

 For this card I used purples and pinks - Wisteria Wonder, Sweet Sugarplum, Berry Burst (a little obsessed with this colour atm) and a touch of Crushed Curry. I stamped all the layers for the orchid onto Whisper White card stock- the Berry Burst layer is stamped off and then die cut them with the matching Orchid Builder Framelits in the Big Shot. I also cut the oval to layer the orchid on from the Stitched Shapes which is sponged with the Burry Burst ink and added the orchid stem in Early Espresso ink.  I assembled the orchid on the sponged oval using Stampin' Dimensionals this was layered on a piece of Berry Burst paper from the Fresh Floral Paper Stack then layer on Whisper White card stock and adhered to the Whipser White card base. To finish the card I added the sentiment also from The Climbing Orchid stamp set and some matching Color Theory Glitter Enamel Dots.

Magical Mermaid with Color Theory Memories & More Card

I was commissioned to make a birthday card for lovely young lady I know and knew the NEW Magical Mermaids set would perfect. I paired the stamp set with a few cards from Memories & More Color Theory Card Pack. This card are intended for Pocket scrapbooking but are perfect for many MORE other projects as well. I stamped the Mermaid on a scrap of Vellum with Versamark ink and coated in Gold Emossing powder and melted with the Heat Tool. I coloured the mermaid using the colours of ink from Color Theory Suite - Dapper Denim, Old Olive, Berry Burst and Crushed Curry with a touch of Powder Pink for her skin using a damp Aqua Painter I hand cut her out and added to the wave card. I also Gold Heat Embossed the sentiment on the same card and added some solid Mermaids stamped with Versamark ink and stamped off Seaweed in Old Olive. This card was layered with a Berry Burst card that reminded me of scales.

These pieces were layered onto a piece of Whisper White card that had bubbles stamped in Dapper Denim and Seaweed in Olive and layered onto Berry Burst and a Thick Whisper White Card Base. For a finishing touch I added a number of the matching Color Theory Glitter Enamel Shapes.

I couldn't leave the inside of the card naked so added a stamped off Berry Burst Mermaid and Dapper Denim sentiment also from the Magical Mermaid Set.
