Stampin’ Up! Springtime Impressions and Perennial Essence Cards

I managed to make 12 cards using the Stampin' Up Perennial Essence and Springtime Impressions Dies in a recent VIDEO. I have also used the sentiment from Accented Blooms and the BRAND NEW and coming soon Lovely Label Pick a Punch to give a cute decorative edge. I used Vellum for the butterfly so you can see the beautiful paper through it and it doesn't take up so much visual space. To finish the butterfly and the card I added Petal Pink Rhinestone gems to the butterflies body to cover the Glue Dots and add shine.

Stampin' Up! Accented Blooms and Woven Threads Thank You Card

I was in need for a number of quick and easy thank you cards last week and used the Stampin' Up Accented Blooms Stamp and Woven Threads Paper. I kept the stamping very simple using this bold thank you sentiment in Purple Posy ink onto Whisper White card stock punched out with the matching Tailored Tag punch, which is layered on a 2" punch circle of Woven Threads Paper and 2 1/4" Seaside Spray card stock circle. The card base is Sahara Sand with another Woven Threads pattern strip layered on Whisper White card stock to anchor the circle.

Stampin' Up! Accented Blooms and Come To Gather Card and Bag Set

I am playing along with the Stampin Friends! Thankfulness Blog Hop. I have paired the Stampin' Up! Accented Blooms stamp set with the Come To Gather paper. This is a colour combo I wouldn't normally put together but I really love how this Card and Decorated Gift Bag both turned out and could be used for anyone in my life. I used lots of layers and a touch of Vellum to really make these colours and patterns work together just perfectly. The Accented Blooms sentiment is punched using the matching Tailored Tag Punch and is bold enough to make the right impact in Mint Macron on the front of both the card and matching decorated Gift Bag.

Accented Blooms Colouring Card

I wasn't quite sure what to do with this month's August Stampin' Up! Color Challenge as I cannot say I'm a Subtles colour girl. I took direct inspiration from the photo and used my Accented Blooms stamp set with the matching Tailored Tag Punch.



I used the Bender Pen to colour the flowers picking up the ink from the lids of the ink pads. I added a shadow underneath to ground the cluster as I felt it was floating on the card.
For a final touch I added Wink Of Stella to the punched out sentiment to make it pop.
