Christmas Pines May Christmas Stampathon 2018 - Sparkle and Shine

Welcome to the 5th Installment of the Christmas Challenge Stampathon 2018 with three of my Demo buddies Ruth Trice 'Artful Stampin' from the UK, Denise Garrison 'Lady Bug Stampin' from USA, Rosalie Desmond from Australia. Our May Challenge is to make at least 4 Christmas Projects made using Sparkle and Shine ready for Christmas. You all have till June 24th to get your entries in and play along.

I am trying really hard to use my left over soon to be retiring paper from the 2017-2018 Annual Catalogue and to make this simple card I have used the Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate which I loved and chopped ready to use straight onto a card, Silver and Gold Glimmer Paper and paired it with the NEW and coming really soon Gorgeous Grape card stock and the carrying over Christmas Pines stamp set which matched the theme of this months Christmas Stampathon. I also used 2" circle and Starbust punch and Gold and Silver thread for the sentiment embellishments.

Eastern Medallions with Fabulous Foil Acetate Card

I found this Amazing Card by Kristin Kortonick on Pinterest and loved it so much that I cased it. I adore how versatile the Eastern Medallion set is I have previously made THIS card where I used this flower how it is intended to be that the petals partially cut

For this card I snipped out the flower so it is a separate piece. I layered it with 1 1/4 " Circle Punched Very Vanilla card stock which I stamped using the Eastern Beauty stamp set in Fresh Fig and Lemon Lime Twist. I layered Gold Thread between these 2 layers. I placed this on a Thick Very Vanilla card base with a Very Vanilla layer with a piece of Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate wrapped in Gold Metallic Ribbon you can also use some Sequin Trim over it.

Lovely Inside & Out with Christmas Pines Card - GSF Blog Hop

There is nothing more Festive in Australia than Christmas In July as it actually cold and not scorching hot, so participating in this month's Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop Christmas with a Twist was an easy one to say YES to. While we all eagerly await the Stampin' Up! 2017 Holiday catalogue we are all thinking outside the square with the current offering of products - I have used Lovely Inside & Out, Diagonal Stripe and Christmas Pines stamp sets to make this Ornament card

The base of the card from is Whisper White card stock that I stamped in Basic Grey Archival ink with the Diagonal Stripe. Next stamped the circle bursts for the Inside & Out stamp set in Fresh Fig, Always Artichoke and Cherry Cobbler on Vellum and clear heat embossed them to give some shine and punched them out using the 1 3/4" circle punch. While I was embossing I took the sentiment from the Christmas Pines stamp set and gold heat embossed it on Fresh Fig card stock and attached it to the striped piece using Stampin Dimensionals. I attached the 'baubles' using Fast Fuse. To finish the card front I added the strings that are our NEW gold Mini Sequin Trim and the bauble tops that are bundled together Gold Thread with Gold Faceted Gems. I layered the card from on a matt of Cherry Cobbler card stock on a Always Artichoke card base.

Eastern Palace with Eastern Gold Vinyl Stickers Card

I am totally blown away with Eastern Gold Vinyl Stickers that are a part of the current Pre Release Eastern Palace Bundles available till 31st May. Their quality is second to none and like no other clear based stickers I have seen before. To make this Card I took a piece of the Fresh Fig paper from the Eastern Palace Speciality Paper and plonked some if the circular stickers onto it. I layered this piece onto some Tranquil Tide card stock and then a Thick Very Vanilla card base. I created the sentiment cluster by stamping "Hello" from the Eastern Beauty Stamp set also in the bundles in Tranquil Tide ink into Very Vanilla card stock punched it out with the Classic Label Punch, once again a layered it onto Tranquil Tide card stock added a matching Mini Tassels and Gold Tread.

Hello - Eastern Beauty, Eastern Palace DSP Card

I had some time yesterday with my friend and fellow demonstrator Rosalie Desmond via Video to play and be inspired with using some NEW products from the Eastern Palace Suite from the upcoming Annual Catalogue, lucky for us we have the opportunity to play with it early and as a customer you get to purchase and play with this set as of May 1st in 2 Bundles of Products more info to come....... To make this card I to took the open flower shape and stamped it making sure it is connecting it to create a repeating pattern in one of our NEW 2017-2019 In Colours Lemon Lime Twist. I had a little scrap another new colour Fresh Fig patterned paper from the Eastern Palace Specialty Designer Series Paper and Gold Heat Embossed the Hello from the same Eastern Beauty stamp set which I flagged using Banner Triple Punch and added some bunched Gold Thread to finish off the sentiment. I layered the stamped piece in a Fresh Fig card stock layer onto a Lemon Lime Twist Card base.

I will be holding a Stamp-a-Stack class on May 21st 1pm where we will using the Eastern Palace Suite making 6 cards 2 each of 3 Designs including envelopes for $25 on the Central Coast, NSW. Please contact me for further details and to RSVP.

Botanical Blooms and Crazy For You Stamps with Botanical Builder and Deco Label Framelits with GDP #031

This is card for an upcoming class that I cased from Jackie Bolhuis and it suited the Global Design Project Nature Theme challenge this week perfectly 

To start the card I cut and scored a card base and card front slightly smaller than the card from from Thick Whisper White card stock. I the took a scrap of the same card stock and die cut a deco label with the Big Shot. I also die cut 2 Pink Pirouette flowers and 2 leaves in Old Olive and flower centres with Melon Mambo from the Botanical Builder Framelits and embossed the card front with the Honeycomb embossing folder. I stamped the sentiment in Soft Suede from the Crazy for You stamp set, I also stamped the leaved in Old Olive from the Botanical Blooms stamp set. To start assembling the card I adhered the embossed piece to the card from and wrapped some Gold Thread around the Deco Label die cut and adhered using doubled up Stampin' Dimensionals. To finish the card off I assembled the flowers and leaves and to add a touch of sparkle I added rhinestones to the flower centres and clear Wink of Stellar to the inner petals of the flowers.

Wondrous Wreath, Christmas Greetings, Merry Moments and Mojo Monday 423 Christmas Card

Another week another Sketch Challenge thanks to Mojo Monday

I started the card by stamping the Wondrous Wreath Wreath stamps in Wild Wasabi, Old Olive and berries in Real Red and flower in Sahara Sand.  I then followed the sketch using paper from Merry Moments Paper. I cut the Merry in both Gold Foil and Silver Glimmer Paper using the Christmas Greetings Thinlits. For a finishing touch I added a Gold Thread bow under the flower and an Iced Rhinestone as the flower centre.

Friendly Wishes with Bohemian Designer Series Paper Card

I am loving the colour inspiration from the new Designer Series Paper.

I have used Friendly Wishes Stamp, Bohemian Designer Series Paper, Gold Thread ,Cherry on Top Washi Tape and Chalk Talk Framelit with the Big Shit. This project is inspired by an Artisan Team Project.
