Stampin' Up! Butterfly Wishes with Stitches Lace Card

Yesterday I flew by the seat of my pants making this card using the NEW Stampin' Up! Butterfly Wishes stamp set, Stitched Lace and Stitched Nested Label dies along with Stampin' Write markers and some sparkle and bling with Silver Metallic Thread, Rhinestones and Wink of Stella.

Colours used - Petal Pink, Purple Posy, Seaside Spray and Gorgeous Grape.

 Stampin' Write Markers colours used - Petal Pink, So Saffron, Mango Melody, Gardren Green and Early Espresso.

Christmas Pines May Christmas Stampathon 2018 - Sparkle and Shine

Welcome to the 5th Installment of the Christmas Challenge Stampathon 2018 with three of my Demo buddies Ruth Trice 'Artful Stampin' from the UK, Denise Garrison 'Lady Bug Stampin' from USA, Rosalie Desmond from Australia. Our May Challenge is to make at least 4 Christmas Projects made using Sparkle and Shine ready for Christmas. You all have till June 24th to get your entries in and play along.

I am trying really hard to use my left over soon to be retiring paper from the 2017-2018 Annual Catalogue and to make this simple card I have used the Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate which I loved and chopped ready to use straight onto a card, Silver and Gold Glimmer Paper and paired it with the NEW and coming really soon Gorgeous Grape card stock and the carrying over Christmas Pines stamp set which matched the theme of this months Christmas Stampathon. I also used 2" circle and Starbust punch and Gold and Silver thread for the sentiment embellishments.

Season Like Christmas with Merry Music Paper Christmas Card

Well I had a moment during the Christmas period of Running out of Christmas cards..... or so I thought. I later found my other stash. But before they were found I whipped up these adorable cards using the Season Like Christmas Stamp Set from Stampin Up! along with Mery Music Speciality Paper and the silver embossed sentiment from the Good Tidings Stamp Set and a touch of Silver Metallic Thread to tie it all together.

The ink colours used for the tree are Garden Green and Tranquil Tide as well as Early Espresso and Sahara Sand with Cherry Cobbler Ornaments.

Did you know the music on the Merry Music Paper can actually be played?

Here is a closer look at the Silver embossing and Silver Metallic Thread - a nice touch that doesn't detract from the focal point of the tree.

Work Of Art with 2014-2016 In Colours Card with Video

In the last week I have found a kits of cards ready to made the is nearly 2 years old. It was showcasing the then new and now about to retire 2014-2016 In Colours there were some now retired products on the card so I took the opportunity to do some re-invention of the original.

To make the card I took the large paint swoosh from the Work of Art Stamp set and stamped it 5 times on top of each other using Mossy Meadow, Hello Honey, Tangelo Twist, Blackberry Bliss and Lost Lagoon Inks on Very Vanilla card stock. I stamped the sentiments also from Work of Art in Soft Suede Ink again on a scrap of Very Vanilla card stock and punched with the 1 3/4" Circle Punch and edged the circle in Lost lagoon Ink. Next I punched 3 Elegant Butterflies in Hello Honey, Blackberry Bliss and Tangelo Twist card stock and 3 Vellum card stock Bitty Butterflies. To attach the butterflies together I used glue dots and covered them from being seen with the small Iced Rhinestones. I adhered the stamped piece to a Lost Lagoon Card base using Fast Fuse and the butterflies with more glue dots. For a finishing touch I took for Silver Thread that I wrapped around my hand and attached it to the back of the sentiment circle with Fast Fuse and the attitude the sentiment to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

World Traveller Embossing with Going Global Stamps and Going Places Paper Masculine Card

I made this card a month or so ago and it has been a favourite of many in my customers in class and the ladies in my team so I wanted to share it with you.

To start this card I embossed a piece of Pool Party card with the World Traveller Embossing folder using the Big Shot. I then took Mossy Meadow and Crumb Cake Inks to sponge the land in on the embossing folder using our Stamping Sponges. Next I chose 2 patterns from the Going Place Paper Stack and stamped the compass from the Going Global Stamp set and punched with the 2" Circle Punch. The other strip I punched with the Banner Triple Punch. I stamped the sentiment next in Mossy Meadow Ink into a scrap of Whisper White card and punch it out with the Washi Label Punch. I cut a length of Burlap Ribbon to use as the base layer for the Sentiment Stack and used glue dots to adhere it. I adhered the pattered paper strip to the back of the punched compass and sentiment on top over lapping the compass. For the finishing touches I looped some Silver Metallic Thread around my hand and adhered it again using some glue dots on the the back of the paper pieces and adhered the whole piece over the Burlap Ribbon using Stampin Dimensionals. I added 3 single sequins from the Silver Sequin Trim to tie it all together.

Jolly Christmas and Hardwood Stamps with Wonderful Wreath Framelits Christmas Card using Mojo Monday 420 Sketch

I am still very much in love with the Deer from the Jolly Christmas Stamp set

I started with the Mojo Monday Sketch for this card and decided I wanted to use both the Deer and the Hardwood Stamp set which I stamped in Sahara Sand on our Thick Whisper White Card. I next wanted a piece of green patterned paper which I found in Old Olive from the Pretty Petals Designer Paper Stack and a strip of Silver Glimmer Paper for a pop. 

To create the tag I cut a 2" piece of Whisper White paper and punched the tag top with the Scalloped Tag Topper punch. I then stamped the deer in Soft Suede. I took a few lengths of Cherry Cobbler Bakers Twine for the top of the tag and added a Silver Metallic Thread how under our stunning Iced Rhinestone Embellishment to finish the top of the tag off. 

To complete the bottom I rounded both corners with our Project Life Corner Rounder Punch. I finally created the dimensional Joy from the Wonderful Wreath Framelits by cutting various Real Red Joys and adhering then together with the Red Foil Joy on top to finish it off.
