Detailed Baubles Thinlits Christmas Challenge Stampathon 2018 Christmas Decoration

Welcome to the 10th and final Installment of the Christmas Challenge Stampathon 2018 with three of my Demo buddies Ruth Trice 'Artful Stampin' from the UK, Denise Garrison 'Lady Bug Stampin' from USA, Rosalie Desmond from Australia. Our October is Challenge is to make at least 4 Decorations or Home Decor Items ready for Christmas. You all have till November 24th to get your entries in and play along. Keep your eyes peeled for the Winners after November 25th. See will be back next year starting on January 25th.

I have used the Detailed Baubles Thinlits, Merry Merlot and Copper Ribbon, Copper Trim, Copper Metallic Thread, Shimmer Paint and the Big Shot. The colours I have used are Merry Merlot and Gray Granite

Petal Palette Bundle with Petal Passion Paper Card

I was inspired to make this card using the Petal Palette Suite from Stampin Up! by one of my favourite crafters Amy Rsavy. When I saw her card I thought I have a great stamp set to CASE that card. Who can go past embossing and water colouring with vellum and a touch of copper?

The flowers are clear Heat Embossed on Watercolor Paper and watercolour washed with Melon Mambo and Old Olive inks with an Aqua Brush then die cut with the co-ordinating Thinlits. I stamped and Copper Heat Embossed the sentiment onto Vellum and added it to a piece of Petal Passion Paper and wrapped some of our copper thread around it to tie it all together.

In This World with Affectionately Yours using Just Add Ink #346

I am completely in Love with the Copper products in the 2016-2017 Annual Catalogue. I have used many of those products with the Just Add Ink #346 - Just Choose Two - Hearts, Flowers, Butterflies. I used the Affectiontely Yours Specialty Designer Series Paper #loveitchopit with the beautiful flowers and foiling and I embossed one of the Lace Doilies with Copper Embossing Powder. I also added the Copper Mettalic Thread. I stamped the butterfly from the In This World stamp set in Night of Navy on the Strip and some Crumb Cake card stock. I coloured the Crumb cake butterfly using my Blender Pen and night of Navy, , Daffodil Delight, Mint Macron, Cucmber Crush and Watermelon Wonder.

Thoughtful Banners, Affectionately Yours Specialty Paper with Copper Metallic Thread #GPD040 Card

I am totally in love the the Affectionately Yours Specialty Paper in the NEW 2016-2017 catalogue and have already used it on a scrapbook page but had to make a card with it as well. I paired this card with this weeks Global Design Project #040 CASE the Designer challenge. 

I started the card by choosing the 2 patterns from the Affectionately Yours Specialty Paper. I used the Watermelon Wonder pattern on the background attached to Night of Navy Card base. Next I trimmed down piece of the copper foiled floral pattern and matted it onto Mint Marcon card stock and attached it to the Watermelon Wonder patterned piece. For the sentiment I stamped on of the banner stamps from Thoughtful Banners in Watermelon Wonder on Watermelon Wonder card stock and punched out with the Duet Banner Punch. Next I took the Celebrate word also from Thoughtful Banners and curved it on a clear block and stamped in Night Of Navy ink into the punched banner. To finish of the card I took a coil of Copper Metallic Thread and attached it using Glue Dots to the back of the banner. I attached the finished banner to the card using Stampin' Dimensional to the middle of the banner and Glue Dots to the ends to give it a nice bend.
