Stampin’ Up! Magical Mermaid and Come Sail Away Memories and More Card

Whilst making some masculine cards over the past few days using the Stampin' Up! Come Sail Away Memories and More Cards this laser cut piece caught me eye and was screaming to be paired with the Magical Mermaid stamp set which I did for this card in a VIDEO. I paired them with Perennial Essence Paper (one of the designs looks like seaweed) Painted Labels, Smooth Sailing and Bouquet Bunch Dies with Stampin' Blends to colour the Mermaid. I added a generous amount of sprays of Champagne Shimmer Paint mixed with rubbing alcohol in a Stampin Spritzer to add some overall sparkle to the card.

Stampin' Up! Magical Mermaid and Brusho Card

I shared my messy love of Stampin' Up! Brusho Crystal Colour well over a year ago with my team and in a class but only shared one card with you all. So I reignited my love and played in a LIVE Video and made this card using a completed background piece from my "use it up box" and the Magical Mermaid stamp set and lots of Copper embossing with a touch of stamping in Garden Green for the sea weed. Colours Used: Moss Green, Prussian Blue, Lemon Lime Twist, Garden Green and Copper.

Magical Mermaid Watercolour Card

This week we had a special birthday, our grand daughter turned 7 and as soon as I saw the Magical Mermaid stamp set in the 2017-2018 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue and I knew I had to use it for her birthday.

I started this card with a piece of Watercolor Paper and wet it heavily with clean water using our Aqua Painters and started building up layers of colour using Temping Turquoise Reinker for the water and both Crushed Curry and Sahara Sand Reinkers for the sand. Once this background was dry I added detail using the Magical Mermaid stamp set, stamping the seaweed in Wild Wasabi and Garden Green inks, sand detail in Sahara Sand ink and Tempting Turquoise ink for the water bubbles. Next I added a small amount of clean water over stamping to soften the images. Next stamped the both the sentiment and Mermaid in Veramark in on Watercolour Paper Gold heat embossing them and then colouring the mermaid using the following inks Crushed Curry - hair, Rose Red - hairband, Pink Pirouette - skin, Pacific Point and Garden Green for the tail, handcutting it out and adding it to the card front with both Mini and Stampin' Dimentionals. I matted the card front with Gold Foil Sheets onto a Sahara Sand card base.

Magical Mermaid with Color Theory Memories & More Card

I was commissioned to make a birthday card for lovely young lady I know and knew the NEW Magical Mermaids set would perfect. I paired the stamp set with a few cards from Memories & More Color Theory Card Pack. This card are intended for Pocket scrapbooking but are perfect for many MORE other projects as well. I stamped the Mermaid on a scrap of Vellum with Versamark ink and coated in Gold Emossing powder and melted with the Heat Tool. I coloured the mermaid using the colours of ink from Color Theory Suite - Dapper Denim, Old Olive, Berry Burst and Crushed Curry with a touch of Powder Pink for her skin using a damp Aqua Painter I hand cut her out and added to the wave card. I also Gold Heat Embossed the sentiment on the same card and added some solid Mermaids stamped with Versamark ink and stamped off Seaweed in Old Olive. This card was layered with a Berry Burst card that reminded me of scales.

These pieces were layered onto a piece of Whisper White card that had bubbles stamped in Dapper Denim and Seaweed in Olive and layered onto Berry Burst and a Thick Whisper White Card Base. For a finishing touch I added a number of the matching Color Theory Glitter Enamel Shapes.

I couldn't leave the inside of the card naked so added a stamped off Berry Burst Mermaid and Dapper Denim sentiment also from the Magical Mermaid Set.
