Christmas Pines May Christmas Stampathon 2018 - Sparkle and Shine

Welcome to the 5th Installment of the Christmas Challenge Stampathon 2018 with three of my Demo buddies Ruth Trice 'Artful Stampin' from the UK, Denise Garrison 'Lady Bug Stampin' from USA, Rosalie Desmond from Australia. Our May Challenge is to make at least 4 Christmas Projects made using Sparkle and Shine ready for Christmas. You all have till June 24th to get your entries in and play along.

I am trying really hard to use my left over soon to be retiring paper from the 2017-2018 Annual Catalogue and to make this simple card I have used the Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate which I loved and chopped ready to use straight onto a card, Silver and Gold Glimmer Paper and paired it with the NEW and coming really soon Gorgeous Grape card stock and the carrying over Christmas Pines stamp set which matched the theme of this months Christmas Stampathon. I also used 2" circle and Starbust punch and Gold and Silver thread for the sentiment embellishments.

Christmas Pines with Be Merry Paper Treat Bags

Welcome to the 3rd Installment of the Christmas Challenge Stampathon 2018 with three of my Demo buddies Ruth Trice 'Artful Stampin' from the UK, Denise Garrison 'Lady Bug Stampin' from USA, Rosalie Desmond from Australia. Our March is Challenge is to make  2 at least 2 Foldable Treat Bags that you can store flat ready for Christmas.

For my sample I have used Striped Treat Bags for the base of original and in th video sample I have used the Mini Treat Bag Thinlit to create my bag from the Sale-A-Bration Springtime Florals Speciality Paper. For the first embellishment on the bag I used a strip of the Be Merry Paper along with a strip of the Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate as the base and I flagged both the ends using the Tailored Tag Punch. I added the Metallic Foil Doilies over this with a punched circle of Emerald Envy card stock and the Banner from Mini Treat Bag which I Silver Embossed using the Noel Sentiment from the Christmas Pines stamp set.

My second sample is made using the Mini Treat Bags Framelits and Springtime Foils Paper from Sale-A-Bration with the same embellishment! And HERE is the video of my making it

Eastern Medallions with Fabulous Foil Acetate Card

I found this Amazing Card by Kristin Kortonick on Pinterest and loved it so much that I cased it. I adore how versatile the Eastern Medallion set is I have previously made THIS card where I used this flower how it is intended to be that the petals partially cut

For this card I snipped out the flower so it is a separate piece. I layered it with 1 1/4 " Circle Punched Very Vanilla card stock which I stamped using the Eastern Beauty stamp set in Fresh Fig and Lemon Lime Twist. I layered Gold Thread between these 2 layers. I placed this on a Thick Very Vanilla card base with a Very Vanilla layer with a piece of Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate wrapped in Gold Metallic Ribbon you can also use some Sequin Trim over it.

Mini Treat Bag with Glassine and Detailed Dragonfly GDP 071

Sometimes I just get the calling to make a project with NO stamping. GASP! I Know. I Know. But I have been able to showcase so many of our beautiful Stampin' Up! products all in one cute Treat Bag for this weeks Global Design Project Challenge to make a 3D Item.

I started by getting Big Shot ready for a bit of a work out by using the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits to out one Rose Red card stock and adhered it together and added a belly band using the Sending Love Glassine. To make the Tag I used the Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate cut with the Banners Framelits added a Lace Doily for the base of the Gold Foil Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits and an Elegant Eggplant card stock love from the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits. To attach the Tag to the Treat Bag I used our adorable Gold Binder Clips.
