World Traveller, Going Places and Large Number Framelts Card with GDP #034

This the second card I have been asked to make for a Blind volunteers at my Husband's work. Once again I have concentrated on texture to enhance the card. I have used this weeks Global Design Project Sketch Challenge #034 for the layout of this card.

To start the card I embossed a piece of Lost Lagoon card stock with the World Traveller embossing folder on the Big Shot. Whilst I had the Big Shot I also cut the numbers out using the Large Number Frameits with Mossy Meadow Paper and using the Project Life Cards and Labels Framelits I cut a piece of the Going Places Paper. Next I took my Whisper White Ink and Stampin' Sponge and sponged the central area of the Lost Lagoon embossed piece. I then adhered the Going Places die cut piece to the card. I took the numbers and adhered them to the card using double dimentionals so the recipient can feel around the numbers. I adhered the card front to a Thick Whisper White card base. As the two finishing touches for this card I added some silver sequins with Glue Dots and Fine Tip Glue Pen to the surface of the numbers to make them smooth to the touch, both of these add great texture to the card.

World Traveller Embossing with Going Global Stamps and Going Places Paper Masculine Card

I made this card a month or so ago and it has been a favourite of many in my customers in class and the ladies in my team so I wanted to share it with you.

To start this card I embossed a piece of Pool Party card with the World Traveller Embossing folder using the Big Shot. I then took Mossy Meadow and Crumb Cake Inks to sponge the land in on the embossing folder using our Stamping Sponges. Next I chose 2 patterns from the Going Place Paper Stack and stamped the compass from the Going Global Stamp set and punched with the 2" Circle Punch. The other strip I punched with the Banner Triple Punch. I stamped the sentiment next in Mossy Meadow Ink into a scrap of Whisper White card and punch it out with the Washi Label Punch. I cut a length of Burlap Ribbon to use as the base layer for the Sentiment Stack and used glue dots to adhere it. I adhered the pattered paper strip to the back of the punched compass and sentiment on top over lapping the compass. For the finishing touches I looped some Silver Metallic Thread around my hand and adhered it again using some glue dots on the the back of the paper pieces and adhered the whole piece over the Burlap Ribbon using Stampin Dimensionals. I added 3 single sequins from the Silver Sequin Trim to tie it all together.

World Traveller Embossing with Going Places and Party with Cake Birthday Card with VIDEO

I made this Masculine card as part of a Stamp a Stack class last weekend. I have also created a live video to show you have I created it.

I have finally cracked open my Glassine Sheets and embossed it using the World Traveller Embossing Folder in the Big Shot. I took a small strip of the Going Places Paper Stack and Lost Lagoon strip that has been stamped with the Going Global Stamp Set with Lost Lagoon Ink. The sentiment from Party with Cake is stamped with Mossy Meadow on Very Vanilla card stock. I adhered the glassine onto the  Delightful Dijon card base with a few small tabs of Fast Fuze adhesive on the card base. It won't show through too much this way. The paper pieces were all edged with Sahara Sand Ink and adhered to the card ready to send out to make someone's birthday special.

Going Global Stamp, Going Places Paper Stack and World Traveler Embossing Folder using Mojo Monday 432 Card

I cannot seem to stay away from the Going Places Suite from the Occasional 2016 Catalogue and here is another card

I used Mojo Monday Sketch 431 for this card and made a square card base using Thick Whisper White card. I took the Going Places Paper Stack and chose the patterns to use on the card. I cut one down to fit the card base. Three of the patterns were cut into strips and used the Banner Triple Punch on the ends and attach them to the card as per the sketch. Next I took the map paper and matted it on the Mossy Meadow grid paper and adhered it to the card on top of the banner pieces. To create the embellishment and sentiment piece I stamped the globe in Lost Lagoon on Very Vanilla card and punched it with the 2 inch Circle Punch along with a circle of the paper stack to mat it with.  I stamped the sentiment in Mossy Meadow on Very Vanilla and punched it with Washi Label Punch. I attached it under the the globe along with a scrap of patterned paper and Pool Party Glitter Ribbon and attached the piece using Stampin' Dimentionals.

Going Global and Hello Stamp Sets and Going Places Paper with Mojo Monday #430 Birthday Card

A change of pace today and a masculine card ready for my husband birthday this week.

I started this card with Mojo Monday sketch #430. I chose papers from the Going Places Paper Stack and adhered the Thick Whisper White card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I then stamped the birthday boy sentiment from the Sale-a-Bration Hello stamp set in Lost Lagoon and flagged the end of the paper strip. and adhered it with Stampin' Dimensionals. Next I stamped the Lucky Stars stamp from the Going Global stamp set in Delightful Dijon on Very Vanilla card stock and adhere it before the Birthday Boy using Snail Adhesive. Also using the Going Global stamp set I stamped the compass in stamped off Sahara Sand and the heart in Mossy Meadow on Very Vanilla card stock and matted it on Lost Lagoon with Snail adhesive and adhered the piece with Stampin' Dimensionals to finish off the card.
