Beautiful Baubles and Gold Heat Embossed Christmas Card

This has be one of easiest Christmas cards I have made.  I have only used the Beautiful Baubles stamp set, Stamparatus, Versamark Ink, Gold Embossing Powder, Heat Tool and Berry Burst, Powder Pink and Fresh Fig Cardstock. I was able to mass produce a heap of these to give to my customers with their 2018 Holiday Catalogues. 

I really love how the heat embossing showcases this beautiful intricate stamp.

Varied Vases and Gallery Grunge Card

I am once again playing along with the Stampin' Up! Color Challenge for July. This month's inspiration photo is below. The Colours are Lemon Lime Twist, Night of Navy and Gorgeous Grape.

I have had some trouble seeing how to use the new Galley Grunge stamp images so I just went for it and used as a background in Night of Navy ink onto Whisper White card stock. The Varied Vases Flowers which are stamped in Lemon Lime Twist and Gorgeous Grape and matching Lemon Lime Twist vase punched with the Vases Builder Punch sponged with Gorgeous Grape ink. IO added a layer of Vellum between the background stamping and vase just to make the vase and flowers pop whilst still seeing the the wood through it. I layered with Gorgeous Grape and Lemon Lime Twist Card Stocks on a Thick Whisper White card base. I added Glitter Enamel Dots in Gorgeous Grape to finish the Card.

Cake Soiree Bundle with Hardwood Card

Do you ever have a crafting session when nothing works? Well that was me making this card. I was  very happy happy when it finally came together but there was lots of cursing my friends husband Matt who set us a #mattschallenge. The challenge is to use Vellum,  wood grain stamp, leaf embossing folder, Rich Razzleberry ink. I used the Cake Soiree and Hardwood stamp sets from Stampin' Up! as a starting point to create this card.

The Hardwood stamp is stamped in Sahara Sand on Whisper White card stock matted on Rich Razzleberry card stock. I made my faux leaf embossing piece by cutting a leaf from the Petals and More Thinlits attached to a piece of Whisper White card stock and cut with Stitched Shapes Framelits as well as a piece of Vellum and Rich Razzleberry Card Stock. The cake from Cake Soiree is gold heat embossed on Sweet Sugarplum card stock cut it with the matching Sweet Cake Framelits in the Big Shot and added some colour and shading with Rich Razzleberry ink and a Blender Pen. I also cut some Gold Foil accents also using the Sweet Cakes Framelits to add some accents. To create the base I used a Sahara Sand card base, strip of Gold Foil and Sweet Sugarplum card stock.

Christmas Pines and Foil Snowflakes Ornaments

Are you totally in love with Foil Snowflakes like me?? I have used multiple packes of these lovelies and I recently made these ornaments using the Christmas Pines stamp set, Foil Snowflakes and Ribbon. They are seriously so easy to make and make a great quick gift for family, friend teachers anyone really!!

I have seen many versions of these ornaments and made my own version. 

I started by die cutting the banner shape from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits, I stamped Noel from the Christmas Pines stamp set in Versamark ink and heat Embossed with Gold Embossing Powder. I adhered the banner to a gold Foil Snowflake. I backed the snowflakes with a Vellum punched circle and added the Ribbon using Fast Fuse adhesive. I have used Powder Pink Shimmer ribbon as well as Gold 1/8" Ribbon. I have sandwiched the ribbon using punched circles in Powder Pink and Pool Party card stock.

Watercolour Wings and Sparkle Embossing Folder Card

Ever had a card in your head you just had to make? Well I have for quite a while and other projects and events just kept getting in the way! so I finally se aside some time to make it for my Wicked Woody's Team swap the theme was All Occasions.  I revisited an old favourite my Watercolor Wings stamp set from Stampin' Up! and made this card.

I started the card with the Vellum panel and stamped it with Powder Pink ink by inking up up one of our Clear Blocks, I added the sentiment from the Watercolor Wings stamp in Berry Burst Ink and let it all dry. Next I used the 4 Stamp layers for the smaller Butterfly from the Watercolour Wings stamp set and stamped them in Power Pink, Flirty Flamingo, Sweet Sugarplum and Berry Burst inks. I then die cut it using the Butterfly Thinlits in the Big Shot, I also embossed a piece of Whisper White Card Stock with the Sparkle Embossing Folder in the Big Shot for the main layer. I adhered the Butterfly to the Vellum using Glue Dots and the Vellum to the Embossed back ground being sure to hide the adhesive behind the butterfly so it doesn't show through, adding it to a Berry Bust card base.

Ellen does Onstage Local November 2017 - Melbourne

I am finally come out of the OnStage fog that was last weekend with a crazy week this week thrown in. I am sharing some of my weekend away in Melbourne for OnStage Local. where I went to Melbourne to see my lovely friend Rosalie with my team member Helen, many off my other team members went to the Gold Coast event and I made sure we all had some team badges to wear.

I made these badges using the Foil Snowflakes from the 2017 Holiday Catalogue. I printed the writing on my computer making sure to use the Berry Burst HEX code so it all matched when I cared it with the Burry Burst ribbon and card stock that I punched using our circle punches. I sandwiched the ribbon on the back between a Vellum circle and the printed circle so its didn't come lose.

It looked so great with my name tag, badges and ribbons.

I also earned going to the Centerstage event on Friday Night and had a lovely meal and training with old and new friends.

At the main event on Saturday we had a little too much fun. I got to catch up with many of my demonstrator friends and it was fantastic and seeing the new Occasions and Sale a Bration catalogues are AMAZING!!!

Night in Bethlehem Back & White with Fresh Fig Christmas Card

Today I am participating in the Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop which is themed Black, White + 1. My chosen plus ONE is Fresh Fig which one of the 2017-2019 In Colours from Stampin' Up! and I paired these colours with the Night in Bethlehem stamp set from the 2017 Holiday catalogue.



I started this card my doing all the stamping I used Versamark ink which leaves the most perfect watermark to stamp the buildings repeatedly on the Fresh Fig card stock card front adding the Shepherd and his Lamb in the bottom right from the Night in Bethlehem stamp set. I also stamped from the same stamp set Mary, Joseph and the Donkey in Basic Black Archival ink on Whisper White card stock which I then die cut using the Bethlehem Edgelits dies in the Big Shot, I also die cut 2 Stitched Shapes Framelits using the squares in Whisper White and Fresh Fig card stocks. I arranged these elements into the stamped card front using Stampin' Dimensionals for the White Square Layer and stamped Mary, Joseph and Donkey. I attached the Fresh Fig stamped card front to a Thick Whisper White card base to completed the project.
