Watercolored Beautiful Baubles Christmas Card for the September Stampin' Up! Colour Challenge

I really love how delicate the September Stampin' Up! Color Challenge inspiration photo is but the colours are so bold. I have paired these colours with the coming soon Beautiful Baubles stamp set from the 2018 Holiday Catalogue which launches on September 5th.

I repeatedly stamped the hanging baubles and and sentiment in Veramark ink into Very Vanilla card stock and Gold Heat Embossed them using our Heat Tool, I used a damp Aqua Painter to colour the Baubles in Grey Granite, Melon Mambo and Granny Apple Green Inks. I made my own shimmer mist using the NEW Shimmer Paint in Champagne and rubbing alcohol in a Stampin Spritzer and spayed it liberally over the embossed piece. I added a strip in of Granny Apple Green and Gold Foil card stock over to finish the card front and matted it on melon mamba then a Grey Granite Card base.

Tabs for Everything, Gallery Grunge and Best Route Paper Masculine Card

I really love meeting up with my Wicked Woody's Team each month for our team meeting where we make cards, catch up with news, do a little training both via Facebook LIVE and the best bit our card swaps. This is my are swap for our August theme which was Masculine. I also I shared this card first in my class this month and my customers loved it. 

 The products I have used to make this card are Tabs for Everything and Gallery Grunge Stamp Sets Best Route Designer Series Paper and finally Classic Label, 1 ¼” and 1” circle punches.

I used a Sketch From last month’s Christmas Challenge Stampathon 2018 as the basis for my design. The Ink Colours for my Stamping are Versamark, Blueberry Bushel, Grapefruit Grove and Pineapple Punch. Most of these are 2018-2020 In Colors so make sure you add one to your next order.

Joyous Noel Paper with Merry Christmas and Detailed Deer Thinlits One Sheet Wonder Stampathon 2018 Christmas Card

Welcome to the 8th Installment of the Christmas Challenge Stampathon 2018 with three of my Demo buddies Ruth Trice 'Artful Stampin' from the UK, Denise Garrison 'Lady Bug Stampin' from USA, Rosalie Desmond from Australia. Our August is Challenge is to make at least 4 Christmas Projects made using a One Sheet Wonder ready for Christmas. The One sheet Wonder is open for your interpretation so you can used Patterned Paper stamp a sheet of card stock, there re so many templates available online or make top your own like I did. Make it work for you!! You all have till September 24th to get your entries in and play along.

Here is my version of a One Sheet Wonder

Accented Blooms Colouring Card

I wasn't quite sure what to do with this month's August Stampin' Up! Color Challenge as I cannot say I'm a Subtles colour girl. I took direct inspiration from the photo and used my Accented Blooms stamp set with the matching Tailored Tag Punch.



I used the Bender Pen to colour the flowers picking up the ink from the lids of the ink pads. I added a shadow underneath to ground the cluster as I felt it was floating on the card.
For a final touch I added Wink Of Stella to the punched out sentiment to make it pop.
