Wood Textures Paper with Happy Birthday Thinlits 65th Birthday Card

Who is your hardest person to make a card for??
For me it is my Dad. It was his Birthday last week and it was a rather significant number so I wanted to show case that by using the Large Number Framelits long with the Wood Textures paper Stack that is perfect for masculine cards as well as just about any other type as well!

I started by using the Wood Textures Paper Stack. Next I cut the 65 and banner from the large Number Framelits in Island Indigo card stock and 2 Happy Birthday Thinlits in Tranquil Tide card stock as both the word are connected and you need to trim them apart on each piece to have them looking right. Using the Number of Years Stamp Set I stamped the "TH" in Tranquil Tide ink and the frame in Island Indigo ink. I arranged all these pieces on a piece of Vellum so they stood out from the busy background but you you can still see it as well. I adhered the vellum to the Wood Textures paper placing adhesive under all the numbers and words so it is not visible. To finish the card I matted the card from on some Early Espresso card stock and then onto a Crumb Cake card base.
