What Will You Stamp #65 Endless Birthday Wishes Birthday Card

Another great week ahead! The stamp set for this week's What Will You Stamp challenge is Endless Birthday Wishes. I am a Guest Designer this week as I was Winner for THIS CARD a few weeks ago. This weeks set is Endless Birthday Wishes

To make this card I started by stamping the Writing Notes background stamp in Smokey Slate Ink on Whisper White card stock. I then took a number of the sentiments from the Endless Wishes set on the lines in Basic Grey Archival Ink. I also stamped the cupcake from the stamp set in Basic Grey Archival ink on Whisper White card stock. I coloured the cupcake using the Blender Pen to pick up Delightful Dijon, Mint Macron, Tip Top Taupe and Watermelon Wonder Inks. I punched out the cupcake with the 1 3/4" Circle Punch and a 2" circle in Mint Marcon to adhere the Cupcake on. Next I took the small heart Patterned Paper from the Cherry on Top Patterned paper Stack to mat the words and cupcake on. I adhered this piece to a Watermelon Wonder card base that I stamped the dots on in the same colour ink to finish the card.

What will you stamp this week?!

To play along, please create a new project that uses the Stampin' Up! Endless Birthday Wishes Stamp Set and upload it to your online gallery, blog or Instagram feed. Entry deadline is Saturday, May 28th at 5:00 pm PST/8:00 EST.  One lucky winner will be picked at random from all the contributions and announced on Sunday... that winner will get bragging rights and an invitation to join the challenge as our guest designer two weeks later!

Please tag your project using #WWYS65 when you post it so that we can find it! When you use the InLinkz to add your project to this week's challenge, please make sure to provide a direct link to your post. Feel free to combine with other challenges or enter more than one project in this week's challenge! There is no time limit per se, but for the sake of sanity, the linky will only work for Monday-Saturday the week of the challenge. After that, please feel free to leave us a link in the comments for that challenge to share your creations!

One last item of business... please display our challenge badge at the top of this post and, at the very least, please include a link back to our challenge when you post your project.

Hope you play along... we look forward to seeing your creations!

Celebrate Today with Balloon Framelits using Global Design Project #024 Birthday Card with VIDEO

I am seeing a challenge on my team page to used balloons in a card for March and I got a jump ahead on my sample using the Global Design Project #024 Case the Designer

I started this card knowing I wanted to use Balloons and went to my Celebrate Today stamp set and matching Balloon Framelits that you buy as a bundle and save 15%. Next I looked through the Cherry On Top paper Stack and chose this pretty Pool Party pattern that mimicked the effect I wanted on the balloon. I then looked at the colours in the paper stack and decided to use Watermelon Wonder as my pop colour so I took a scrap and trimmed to to the desired sized and stamped the banner from the stamp set in Versamark Ink. Next I took the Happy and Birthday stamps and stamped then on a scrap of Whisper White in Watermelon Wonder and Bermuda Bay. The solid balloon is stamped in Pool Party and the streamer and balloon accents are stamped in Bermuda Bay. I cut both these pieces out using the Balloon Framelits and Magnetic Plate with the Big Shot and set them aside. To finish the Watermelon Wonder piece I added 2 strips of the NEW Sale-a-Bration Metallic Glitter Tape to the top and bottom and added the Happy Birthday Piece. I adhered the patterned paper to a piece of Whisper White and then to a Tip Top Taupe card base. Added the Watermelon Wonder Piece and the balloon and streamer on top with Stampin' Dimensionals. To add the final finishing touch I added some silver sequins.

You can watch how I made this card on Periscope till 4pm 29th February or Katch anytime.

Balloon Buliders, Layered Letter and Back to Basics Alphabet Stamps with Cherry on Top Paper Birthday Card

It was a special little boys Birthday this week and I made a card especially for him

Balloon Buliders, Layered Letter and Back to Basics Alphabet Stamps with Cherry on Top Paper Birthday Card

I started the card by choosing The Cherry On Top Patterned Paper and from there I stamped his name using the Layered Letters Alphabet stamps in Watermelon Wonder, Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry and Cucumber Crush. Next I stamped the Balloon Strings in Tip Top Taupe and then the smaller balloons in Crushed Curry and Watermelon Wonder. For the Bermuda Bay balloon I took the largest stamped it and then stamped the number in Cucumber Crush from the Back to Basics Alphabet Stamp on a scrap Whisper White card stock and punched it using the Balloon Bouquet Punch and adhered it us Stampin' Dimensionals. To finish off the stamping I added the Happy Birthday stamp from Balloon Builders in Cucumber Crush. I edged all the paper pieces in Tip Top Taupe ink and adhered the paper layers and stamped piece to a Thick Whisper White Card.
