Thoughtful Banners with Delightfully Detailed Note cards and Laser Cut Paper Card

I adore the Stampin' Up! Delightfully Detailed Note cards and Envelopes  and Laser Cut Paper and I may have been holding them because they are so beautiful. Well I look the plunge and hand cut the 12x12"piece (yes it was hard) into pieces perfectly sized for the matching note cards. Til finish off the cards I added a simple sentiment from the   Thoughtful Banners stamp set and punched it out with the Classic Label punch. you could easily add some cute pearls or rhinestones to jazz up the card as well.

Colours used: Very Vanilla, Blackberry Bliss and Mint Macaron

Sheltering Tree, Thoughtful Banners with Hardwood Masculine Card

I have finally got around to making a card ready for Father's Day and wanted to share it with you. I have uncovered and dusted off my Sheltering Tree stamp set from Stampin' Up! to make this card. I made the card more useful for any occasion using the Thoughtful Banners stamp set, this et also includes a Happy Father's Day sentiment.

I started making this card by using the Sheltering Tree stamp set and stamping the tree on Whisper White card stock using Lemon Lime Twist, Tranquil Tide, and Early Espresso inks, the second tree I stamped off to create a sense of perspective. I used to swoosh for the ground in Tranquil Tide and Sky in Soft Sky inks. I layered this piece over a Whisper White card stock Hardwood embossed piece that I made using the Big Shot. Both these pieces were matted onto Early Espresso card stock and attached to a Tranquil Tide card base. I stamped the sentiment and frame from the Thoughtful Banners stamped onto Lemon Lime Twist card stock using Tranquil Tide and Early Espresso inks punching it using the Classic Label punch adding this using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.

Mother's Day - Number of Years and Thoughtful Banners Card #JAI357

I am actually trying to be prepared and make Mother's Day card a number of weeks before the event. I have CASED myself for this card I made a few years ago for a fundraiser. For this card I have used the Number Of Years floral stamps to create the background using the coloured inks in this weeks Just Add Ink Colour Challenge #357 which is Sweet Sugarplum, Rich Razzleberry, Island Indigo and Sahara Sand on Thick Whisper White card. To create the sentiment I stamped the Happy and Mother's Day from the Thoughtful Banners stamp set in Island Indigo onto Sweet Sugarplum card stock which I punch using the Classic Label Punch.

To finish off the card I added Wink of Stella to all the flowers.

Delicate Details, Petite Petals with Sponge Brayer - #CI05 #WWYS106

Well I jumped the gun and made a Wedding Card for an April Blog Highlight and silly me used Sale-A-Bration sets that will not be current in April. So here it is, I started with a piece  of Whisper White card stock treated it with the Embossing Buddy and stamped two of the Lace stamps from Delicate Details lining them up on my clear block using my Quick Tip Video, stamped in Versamark Ink and coated in White Embossing Powder and melted with the Heat Tool. I Sponge Brayered over the embossing with this fortnights Colour Inspiration 05 colours - Sahara Sand, Soft Sky, Blushing Bride. Making sure they are overlapped to get a good blend. I have a Quick Tip Video below on how easy the ink blending is.

I stamped the flowers from Petite Petals is Sahara Sand Ink and sponged the middles in Blushing Bride ink, I punched them out using the matching Petite Petals Punch. The sentiments from Thoughtful Banners was stamped on Soft Sky and punched out using the Classic Label Punch. I added the three flowers which had curled up to give them dimension and coated the in Wink of Stella and added 3 small Basic Pearls to the centre of each.

Here is my Video on how easy it is to Ink Blend with the Sponge Brayers

I took the Any Occasion stamp set from the Sale-A-Bration and stamped and embossed in White on Vellum and added 2 more Petite Petals flowers to finish the card.

This card also also meet the criteria for this weeks What Will You Stamp #106 Challenge

Bunch Of Blossoms, Thoughtful Banners with Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate Card

The NEW Stampin' Up! Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate Card is so beautiful Gold on one side and Silver on the other printed on our Window Sheets which are sturdy and thick. I really love the effect on this card.

I started this card by cutting and folding a Dapper Denim Card base and cut the front panel just below half. Next I cut the Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate Card to the width of the card and cut it to the desired height attached it to the inside of the card using Tombow Multipurpose Glue and covered the inside of the card with another layer of Dapper Denim card stock to hide the adhesive. For the front I cut thin strips of of Gold Foil Sheet and adhered it to above and below the Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate Card to finish it off. To make the flower I stamped the large solid petal from Bunch of Blossoms stamped off three times in Dapper Denim ink onto a strip of Whisper White card stock. I used the next layer stamp stamped off once over the first layer of stamping. To finish the petals I brushed them with Embossing Buddy and stamped the outline stamp is Versamark ink and coated with Gold Embossing Powder then melted using the Heat Tool. The flower centre was made using the smallest small flower stamped in Dapper Denim Ink and the dots stamp embossed in gold over it. All the stamped pieces were punched out using the Blossom Builder Punch and assembled the flower using Glue Dots for the petals and a Stampin' Dimensional for the centre. The sentiment is stamped from Thoughtful Banners starting with the solid stamp stamped off in Dapper Denim Ink and the the thank you stamped over the top and finally punched with the Classic Label Punch and placed it back in the punch to shorten it and adhered it using Stampin' Dimensionals to finish the card.

Thoughtful Banners, Affectionately Yours Specialty Paper with Copper Metallic Thread #GPD040 Card

I am totally in love the the Affectionately Yours Specialty Paper in the NEW 2016-2017 catalogue and have already used it on a scrapbook page but had to make a card with it as well. I paired this card with this weeks Global Design Project #040 CASE the Designer challenge.

I started the card by choosing the 2 patterns from the Affectionately Yours Specialty Paper. I used the Watermelon Wonder pattern on the background attached to Night of Navy Card base. Next I trimmed down piece of the copper foiled floral pattern and matted it onto Mint Marcon card stock and attached it to the Watermelon Wonder patterned piece. For the sentiment I stamped on of the banner stamps from Thoughtful Banners in Watermelon Wonder on Watermelon Wonder card stock and punched out with the Duet Banner Punch. Next I took the Celebrate word also from Thoughtful Banners and curved it on a clear block and stamped in Night Of Navy ink into the punched banner. To finish of the card I took a coil of Copper Metallic Thread and attached it using Glue Dots to the back of the banner. I attached the finished banner to the card using Stampin' Dimensional to the middle of the banner and Glue Dots to the ends to give it a nice bend.

Affectionately Yours Specialty Paper with Copper and ThoughtfulBannersand Layered Letters Scrapbook Page

Today I am taking a different tack and hooking into my scrapbooking roots. It's a great way to show you our NEW Affectionately Yours Specialty Paper which has 2 pieces featuring Copper accents and this paper pack has a Crumb Cake colour base which is something different to what we have ever had. Available 1st June 2016.

I started the page with a piece of Kraft card stock. Next I slightly trimmed my photo so it had better proportion. I then took the Affectionately Yours Specialty Paper and made a layered stack using the various patterns and used a piece of the Copper Washi Tape for the matching Affectionately Yours Washi Tape at the top of the photo. This step was not done directly onto the page but stacking under the photo using the Kraft background as a reference. To create the Title I stamped my son's name onto a piece of vellum with Night of Navy and dried it with my Heat Tool. I flagged the end and placed it over the Copper patterned paper. Next I took the Thoughtful Banners stamp and used the solid banner stamp and stamped it in the co-ordination colours ink for the paper - Mint Marcon, Daffodil Delight, Watermelon Wonder and Cucumber Crush onto a piece of scrap Whisper White card stock. I took a number of the words from the same set and stamped them in Night of Navy over the coloured banners. I attached both the title and stamped block to the layered stack tucking it in-between some of the layers to add interest. To add some more shine I took the leaf stamp from the Rose Wonder set and stamped it in Versamark ink above where the title and below the stamping block will be on the Kraft background and covered in Copper Embossing Powder and melted with the Heat Tool. I also ran the Versa Mark ink pad around the the edge of whole page and repeated the same steps. I added some plain stamped leaves in Veramark ink to fill out the background. To finish the scrapbook page I attached the layered paper piece to the Kraft Background.

To order any of the products I have used on this project and more simply go to my SHOP NOW button above to go to my Online store or contact me to place an order. Some of the Products I have used on this card will be available after June 1st 2016.

I can also show you how to make this project at a class with you and your friends. Just contact me to organise a time to enjoy the amazing benefits our hostess can earn and spend on anything in our catalogues.
