Ever had those days where you need inspiration? I did the day I made this card using the Beautiful Peacock stamp set from the Stampin' Up! 2018 Sale-A- Bration catalogue that you can earn FOR FREE with any $90 purchase.

I CASED Anne Marie Hile's card stunning card and changed a few things up I added a few extra colours and layers and omitted the bling, ribbon and glimmer paper used on the original card.

Night in Bethlehem Christmas Decoration

Today I am participating in the Global Stampin' Friends Blog Hop and it's all about Anything but Cards, which is perfect as I have been creating some simple decorations using the Night in Bethlehem stamp set from Stampin' Up! I was inspired to make this decoration to match a CARD I made a few weeks ago using the same set.

To make this card I started by choosing 3 circle sizes from the Layering Circle Framelits set and dies cutting the 2 circles from Whisper White card stock in the Big Shot, I also die cut the coordinating scallop dies with Fresh Fig card stock. Using Fresh Fig ink I stamped the Shepherd and Mary and Joseph stamp into the 2 smallest circles adding the Star stamped off to them. I grounded both these images using the lightest shade of Smokey Slate Stampin' Blends alcohol marker softening it with the Color Lifter. For the largest Whisper White circle I stamped the buildings in stamped off Fresh Fig ink and added the sentiment which I stamped in the same ink on Vellum and also cut using the Layering Circle Framelits. I adhered the stamped circles to the scalloped circles and attached Fresh Fig Finely Woven and Gold 1/8 Ribbons together to the back of the circles sandwiching them with another Fresh Fig card stock circle to complete the project.

Please check out everyone beautiful creations below

Lovely Inside & Out with Color Theory Memories & More

I was inspired by a recent email from Stampin' Up! to use my Memories & More card to make projects other than Pocket Scrapbook pages. I have previously used Memories & More Color Theory cards to make THIS card and while I was picking cards out for that card this Camera card jumped out to me so I popped aside to make this card.

I paired the 3x4 camera card with another card that is 6x4 polka dots, which had a white strip on one side which I trimmed off and adhered to the Dapper Denim card base to make it look like  Polaroid picture. I used the Lovely Inside & Out stamp set to stamp the LOVELY in Berry Burst on the Camera Card which is layered on Berry Burst card stock and the Friend from the Lovely Word Framelits in Dapper Denim 3 times which I trimmed out of the frame and layered together. The Say Cheese sticker is from the same Memories & More Color Theory Pack and I just chopped it to finish off the card.

Carousel Birthday Collage Card #GDP085

Today I tried something a little different and out of my comfort zone. I had seen lots of people use the Carousel Birthday stamp set to create a collage which is something I never thought to do with this set. I have paired this with the Global Design Project Challenge 085 - Colour which was to choose 3 of the retiring 2015-2017 In Colors. I chose Tip Top Taupe Cucumber Crush and Delightful Dijon, I will miss these colours but not sure I have used them as a combo, they are really quite masculine together. I used the stamping off technique to create more interest to these 3 colours and added a 2015-2017 In Colour Doilies to ground the sentiment which I stamped on vellum. To finish the card off I placed it on a Tip Top Taupe card base and added a sprinkling of Metallic Enamel Shapes.

To order any of the products used to make this card you will have to be quick as the items on the Retirement List are selling out fast, simply go to my SHOP NOW button above to go to my Online Store or contact me to place an order.  Don' forget to use this month's Hostess Code.

Layered Letters, Tin of Cards and 2015-2017 In Colours Smile Card

I have delved into my card box and found a few cards I have neglected to share with you all. I made this card as part of my catalogue launch way back in 2015 and most of the products used are now on the retiring list. I have used the 2015-2017 In Colors Tip Top Taupe, Mint Macron, Delightful Dijon, Watermelon Wonder and Cucumber Crush which are still available in a pack of 5 inks and card stock in A4 and 12x12 assorted packs. I stamped the SMILE sentiment from the Layered Letters which are also saying goodbye over the in colours overlapped circles in Basic Black Archival Ink.  I added a strip of the co ordinating Envelope Paper also on the retirement list which is still available under the co-ordinating card stock which I flagged the ends with the staying Banner Triple Punch. As a finishing touch I added some Baker's Twine and an older matching embellishment.

I created this card using two of the the Retiring 2015-2017 In Colours Tip Top Taupe and Mint Macron as well as the Double Take stamp set which I embossed in gold and added the Mint Marcon shadow on Vellum. Serene Scenery with Scenic Sayings and Detailed Dragonflies Card #GDP080

I have had a head cold this week so I am keeping it simple with my cards, it's all my foggy brain can handle. I took on this weeks Global Design Project 080 Case the Designer - the designer is the amazing Louise Sharp. I was inspired my neglected stamp set Scenic Saying and the congrats stamp sun rays that I took the Serene Scenery Paper Stack design with the matching rays to use s my background. I stamped the congrats in Delightful Dijon ink on Whisper White card stock and cut it out using Stitched Shapes Frameilts as well a vellum circle in the larger size. I also took the bee from Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits and cut it in the Big Shot using the Precision Plate out of vellum and coloured it with Delightful Dijon Ink. I added a off cut of the Serene Scenery paper and added the reverse pattern to ground the sentiment.

Close up of the sentiment cluster.

I used the off cut from the Paper Stack to decorate the inside of the card using a sentiment from Banners for You on Vellum punched out with the Banner Punch.

Carried Away Sale-A-Bration Paper, Lift Me Up #FMS279

I needed inspiration today to get my mind into gear to make a set of cards, I used this weeks Freshly Made Sketches #279. I wanted to use my Sale-A-Bration Carried Away Paper before it goes away on the 31st March, 2017. I love the colour combo in the paper and matched my stamping of the Lift Me Up stamps to, using Mint Marcon, Watermelon Wonder, Peekaboo Peach and Night of Navy Inks. I also used the Banner Triple Punch to flag the ends of the base strips. I tried to keep it clean and simple whist using all the layers of paper.

Carried Away with Carousel Birthday Card

I am playing with this week's Freshly Made Sketches #275. Looking at the sketch the Carousel birthday Ferris Wheel jumped out at me. I also grabbed the Carried Away FREE Sale-a-Bration paper to pair with it. I kept it fairly simple. I stamped the ferris wheel on both pieces of patterned paper in Night of Navy and also the cupcake tops in Peekaboo Peach from the Lift Me Up stamp set. I cut the Smokey Slate paper ferris wheel and all the cupcake tops with the Layered Circle and Up & Away Framelits in the Big Shot. I added the 2 paper strips to finish the card front and layered it on Night of Navy and a Watermelon Wonder card base to finish.

This week I just had to play with the Sale-A-Bration set Hey, Chick. These chickens are just everything at the moment and are super popular . I stamped them in 2015-2017 In Colours -Watermelon Wonder, Cucumber Crush and Delightful Dijon in a row just hanging around on some Whisper White card stock. I embossed a piece of Smokey Slate with the Hexagons Dynamic Embossing Folder in the Big Shot. The sentiment is stamped on a piece of Delightful Dijon in Smokey Slate ink and placed on a strip of Cucumber Crush card stock. I sponged all the pieces in Smokey Slate Ink and attached them to a Watermelon Wonder card base.

Happy Patterns Mask with Happy Happening and Botanicals Blooms Stampsand Botanical Builder Framelits - GDP #028 with VIDEO

After mounting all my new stamps and putting away my framelits yesterday, it was time to play along today with the Global Design Project #028 - Case the Designer. I have been waiting for the perfect moment to play with my Happy Patterns Decorative Masks and today was the day.

I started my taking the Diamond pattern mask in the Happy Patterns Decorative Maskand inspiration from the Red/Pink in the designers card. I chose Watermelon Wonder, Mint Marcon and Tip Top Taupe Inks as my colours and sponged them randomly over a piece of Whisper White card stock. Next took a Tip Top Taupe card base and stopped it using the little flower from the Botanical Blooms stamp set in Versamark ink over the background. I took a scrap from the It's my Birthday Paper Stack in black and white and cut 2 thin strips and also a scrap of vellum to cover the masked and sponged piece and atcched them to the card. Taking the Botanical Builder Framelits I cut the Flower and flower centre in Watermelon Wonder and Tip Top Taupe card stock and attached it to the vellum. Using the sentiment from the Happy Happening stamp set I stamped the sentiment in Basic Black Archival ink. To finish the card I added a bow using the Mint Marcon Dotted Lace Trim and a Pearl in the centre of the flower.

You can watch how I made this card on Periscope till 5pm Sunday 27th March or on Katch.

Envelope Card using Awesomely Artistic Stamps and In Colour Inks and Envelope Paper

Sorry for it being so long between projects last week was just crazy, but good news I am back with a project to share with you an Envelope Card

To make a closure for the envelope I made a belly band using a strip of he Mint Macron envelope paper and stamped and hand cut a few pieces from the stamp set. The label in Tip Top Taupe, Medallion in Crushed Curry and Dragonfly in Watermelon Wonder and adhered them over the belly band join to finish the envelope card.
