Stampin' Up! Geared Up Garage, World of Good and Garage Gears Masculine Card

For my Wicked Woody's Team Swap in July out Theme was Masculine Cards. I have paired together the Stampin' Up Geared Up Garage stamp set with Matching Garage Gears Dies and  World Of Good paper.

I tired really hard to get the Geared Up Garage car to work as a coloured element on the card but I just couldn't get it work so I used it in the background of the sentiment Tasteful Label die cut which has a beautiful embossed edge. I stamped off in Cinnamon Cider Ink or you can use Versamark Ink, then stamp the sentiment on top. These 2 pattern papers from the World of Good papers tie in ready well with the car - one being oil/smoke like and other a classic map in brass. I matted them both with the coordinating card stock to frame them and give them weight on the card. I added the die cut Brass gears simply by attaching the Brass Paper to adhesive sheets before I die cut them with the Garage Gears Dies and they are perfectly covered in adhesive ready to adhere. Add the sentiment over the bottom of the gears to ground them and finish the card.

Stampin' Up! Geared Up Garage Masculine Card

I actually was stumped by my own choice of November Stampin' Up! Color Challenge but rather than using flowers I pulled out the Geared Up Garage stamp set and I created 2 collaged backgrounds using the smaller stamps in the stamp set. I made the car the hero of the card laying it on a Vellum Garage Gear Vellum die cut. The car is coloured with Stampin' Blends with a generous coating of Wink Of Stella.

Stampin' Up! Geared Up Garage with Pigment Sprinkles and Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Card

We had a big event in our house, my eldest son turned 15 and this is the card I made him using the Stampin' Up! Geared Up Garage stamp set to say he is a little car obsessed is an understatement. One of his favourite colours is purple (he takes after me!) so I used Gorgeous Grape Pigment Sprinkes on Watercolor Paper and embossed with the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder. I coloured the car using Highland Heather Stampin Blends popped it up on a Garage Gear Vellum tile cut. I personalised the inside using the Family Party Stamp set and Pattern Party Masks.  To see how this came together please check out my video.

Stampin' Up! Happy Tails ands Gingham Gala Paper Card

How can someone not fall in love with the Stampin' Up! Happy Tails stamp set and how many of our puppy dog friends we can make with the one stamp set! For this card I have used Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends to colour the Soft Suede stamped dog and punched with the matching Dog Builder Punch. The speech bubble is from the Garage Gears Thinlits and is a leftover piece from THIS CARD, the sentiment is punched using the Classic Label Punch. To ground the dog added some White Bakers Twine. The Crumb Cake piece is added to a piece of Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper. Colours used Lemon Lime Twist, Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso and Mango Melody.

Stampin' Up! Geared Up Garage

I am currently on a bit of a mission to get all the left over bits used up that are sitting on my desk, for this masculine card I used the interior pieces from this card using Garage Gear Thinlits to make a Faux Embossed background for the Geared up Garage car that I coloured with Stampin' Blends. 

I asked on my Facebook page for my followers to help with a colour combo to go with Mango Melody and the came up with a great selection and I chose to add Granny Apple Green and Blueberry Bushel. I also used a vellum oval cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits in the Big Shot to ground the car.

Stampin' Up! Geared Up Garage Masculine Card

My eldest son who is 14 and car obsessed fell in love with the Classic Garage Suite in the Stampin' Up! 2019 Occasions Catalogue. This is my first project using the Geared Up Garage stamp set and Garage Gears Thinlits along with the Stitched Rectangle Framelits. The card has very simple stamping with just the car and sentiment, the die cutting, detail in dies and using foil gives texture and a touch of something special. I made 2 of these cards in a recent Facebook Live Video be sure to check it out.

Colours used: Very Vanilla, Mango Melody, Blueberry Bushel, Gray Granite, Cajun Craze and Champagne
