Birthday Bright, Love & Affection with Petal Burst Card

I crashed my friend's Stampin' Up! Color Challenge on the FaceBook group. The colours she got were Night of Navy, Peekaboo Peach and Flirty Flamingo. I started with the embossed background Petal Burst and die cut the Circle from the Stitched Shapes Framelits in the Big Shot. I stamped the sentiment from Birthday Bright stamp set in Night of Navy and the flowers from the Love & Affection stamp set in Peekaboo Peach and Flirty Flamingo. I set it on a strip of Flirty Flamingo card stock flagged with the Banner Triple Punch and some Peekaboo Peach Ruched Ribbon. As a final touch I tied a piece of Night of Navy Solid Bakers Twine into a bow.

Love & Affection, Confetti Celebration and Affectionately Yours Paper and Washi Tape with Copper Embossing Card

I made this card for a friends birthday last week. She adores the Affectionately Yours Suite and the new Copper bits in the Annual Catalogue and I love it too so I couldn't resist making this card. PS she loved it!!

I took a Thick Whisper White card base and took strips from the Affectionately Yours Washi Tape across the card. Next I die dut a scallop from the Affectionately Yours Paper and a plain Whisper White circle using the Layering Circles Framelits in the Big Shot. Next I stamped the Flowers and leaves from the Love & Affection stamp set in Watermelon Wonder, Night of Navy, Cucumber Crush and Crumb Cake inks. I used my Blender Pen to add a touch of colour to flowers and leaves with the inks. I added the sentiment from Confetti Celebration in Versamark then covering the stamping in Copper Embossing Powder and melting the powder with the Heat Tool. To finish assembling the card I attached the pattern paper circle directly to the card and the the stamped and embossed circle using Stampin' Dimensionals.

Love & Affection and a Touch of Copper with Global Design Project #037 Card with Video

I saw a beautiful card a few days ago by Dawn Woleslagle and was inspired. I used the colours from the Global Design Project #037 Colour Challenge

I started the card with a Whisper White card stock piece slightly smaller than a standard card. I mounted majority of the image stamps from the Love & Affection set onto our Clear Blocks and grabbed the 3 ink colour Tip Top Taupe, Mint Macron and Island Indigo. I stamped the flowers in the corner first and extended and filled in with the other stamps from there. I cleaned each stamp after using it so it was ready for the next colour. Once I was happy with the composition I took the sentiment to make sure it fitted and I didn't need any extra stamping. To ready the area for embossing I ran the Embossing Buddy over the card from to ensure no stray pieces of powder where I don't want them, I stamped the sentiment also from the Love & Affection set in Versamark ink and covered the image in Copper Embossing powder and used our Heat Tool to melt the powder. I added a few more imaged around the sentiment to finish off the card from and mounted it with Stampin' Dimensionals to a Island Indigo Card Base.
