Stampin’ Up! Splendid Day Use It Up Box Birthday Cards

I used up a whole lot of scraps from the Stampin' Up! Splendid Thoughts Speciality Designer Series Paper create some quick birthday cards in a recent video. This Paper is Retiring on the 4th January 2023 if not sold out beforehand.

These are the first 2 cards I made using some items from my Use It Up Box from recent cards including Framed Florets, Splendid Stems and Stylish Shapes Dies, Distressed Gold Speciality Paper, Splendid Thoughts stamped pieces and Double Oval Punch.

Stampin’ Up! Splendid Thoughts & Splendid Day Use It Up Card 2

I have been making a number of cards using the Splendid Day Suite recently and I created a fair number of scraps and in recent video I used some of them with also some different sized card bases to make 2 cards. This is second card.

I showcased the leaves from the Splendid Thoughts stamp set and Splendid Stems dies on the Splendid Day Paper and Distressed Gold speciality paper and I hand cut the sentiment and added to a Double Oval Pinch. A few Brushed Metallic Dots to finish the card off.

Stampin’ Up! Splendid Day with Splendid Stems Cards

I used the Stampin' Up! July-December Mini Catalogue as inspiration for this card's background using the Splendid Day Designer Series Paper and matching dies in a Recent Video. I also used the Faux Embossing Technique on the feature as well using the Splendid Stems Dies. I added the Splendid Thoughts sentiment with Stitched Rectangle Dies and Vellum. To finished card I added the Open Leaf Trinket with Soft Sea Foam Seam Binding Ribbon and a few Champagne Rhinestones.

Stampin’ Up! Splendid Thoughts, Splendid Day with Brick & Mortar Use It Up Card

I have been making a number of cards using the Splendid Day Suite recently and I created a fair number of scraps and in recent video I used some of them with also some different sized card bases to make 2 cards. This is card 1.

I showcased the leaves from the Splendid Thoughts stamp set and Splendid Stems dies on the Splendid Day Paper own the Brick & Mortar Vellum Piece and I added the sentiment on Shimmery White Cardstock to match the coloured leaf for a subtle shimmer. A single Champagne Rhinestone finished the card off.

Stampin’ Up! Splendid Thoughts with Vintage Christmas Card

I taught the card recently in both my class and team meeting coming the Stampin' Up! Splendid Thoughts and Vintage Christmas Stamp Sets and shared the process in a Recent Video

I used embossing to create the background and sentiment then used blending brushes and ink to bring it to life with Emboss Resist. The focal image is punched with the Vintage Bottle Punch and Splendid Stems Dies. I coloured the leaves using a damp Water Painter. I finished the card with a few clear Elegant Faceted Gems.

Colours:  Soft Sea Foam, Calypso Coral, Pool Party Basic White and Basic Black

Stampin' Up! Splendid Thoughts and Splendid Day Paper Card

I made this card to go with a recent customer mail out. I featured the Stampin' Up! Splendid Thoughts stamp set with matching Splendid Stems dies and Splendid Day Speciality Designer Series Paper.

The plant was 2 step stamped using Soft Succulent and Memento Inks. I then added some Soft Sea Foam using a Blending Brush. I cut the pot with the Splendid Stems using the Splendid Day Paper. The sentiment and bee are also stamped using Memento Ink. I used Stampin' Blends to colour the bee and ground the pot. A few Rhinestones finished the card.

Stampin' Up! Splendid Thoughts SU! Colour Challenge Card

This is my example for the July SU! Colour Challenge I love this simple 3 colour pallette and it worked perfectly for a pot of plants. I used the Stampin' Up! Splendid Thoughts stamp set in a number of ways to create my card. 

I used the leaf stamp to create the background pattern with some light blending as well as on the the pot to create texture. I created the leaves in the pot by stamping and die cutting with the Splendid Stems Dies and some detailed ones in vellum for extra texture.The sentiment is stamped and hand cut. The Rhinestones are coloured Night Of Navy Stampin' Blends. I grounded the pot with the Light Smoky Slate and Color Lifter.
