Stampin' Up! Cake Soiree and Broadway Bound Paper Best Wishes Cards

This is the start of my final goodbyes to a few of the Stampin' Up! products retiring from our current 2018-19 Annual Catalogue. I have used the Cake Soiree stamp set with matching Sweet Cake dies and Swirly Scribbles die, along with beautiful Broadway Bound foiled paper and pulled it all together with Gold heat embossed sentiment punched with the Duet Banner Punch.

Cake Soiree with Sweet Soiree For You Card

I am really sad to be saying goodbye the 2018 Occasions Catalogue especially the beautifully Foiled Sweet Soiree Designer Series Paper. I have used it as a back drop for this card that I made for a local cake shop that kindly ordered from me. I am happy to say that both the Cake Soiree and matching Sweet Cakes Framelits will be carrying over to the NEW 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue.

I have Silver Heat Embossed the cake from Cake Soiree and coloured it with Stampin' Write Markers. I die cut the cake and skirt and stand with the Sweet Cakes Framelits in the Big Shot, stamped the sentiment with flowers into a piece of vellum and punched it out using the Pretty Label punch. I added a coordinating Shimmer Ribbon to finish the card.

Cake Soiree with Sweet Soiree Paper Card

I have card today full of shine to share with you today. It is my Wicked Woody's Team Swap, we used 2 pages in the Stampin' Up! 2017-2018 Annual Catalogue Page 102-103 as inspiration. I used metallic, flowers and cake to inspire this card using Cake Soiree Stamp set, matching Sweet Cake Framelits and Sweet Soiree Speciality Paper.

The cake is Silver Heat Embossed on So Saffron card stock and cut with the Sweet Cake Framelits on the Big Shot I also cut 2 roses from the same set stamped in Calypso Coral and Rich Razzleberry. I also silver heat embossed the sentiment into a piece of vellum which I layered onto a piece of Sweet Soiree Speciality Designer Series paper with a Powder Pink.

Cake Soiree Bundle with Hardwood Card

Do you ever have a crafting session when nothing works? Well that was me making this card. I was  very happy happy when it finally came together but there was lots of cursing my friends husband Matt who set us a #mattschallenge. The challenge is to use Vellum,  wood grain stamp, leaf embossing folder, Rich Razzleberry ink. I used the Cake Soiree and Hardwood stamp sets from Stampin' Up! as a starting point to create this card.

The Hardwood stamp is stamped in Sahara Sand on Whisper White card stock matted on Rich Razzleberry card stock. I made my faux leaf embossing piece by cutting a leaf from the Petals and More Thinlits attached to a piece of Whisper White card stock and cut with Stitched Shapes Framelits as well as a piece of Vellum and Rich Razzleberry Card Stock. The cake from Cake Soiree is gold heat embossed on Sweet Sugarplum card stock cut it with the matching Sweet Cake Framelits in the Big Shot and added some colour and shading with Rich Razzleberry ink and a Blender Pen. I also cut some Gold Foil accents also using the Sweet Cakes Framelits to add some accents. To create the base I used a Sahara Sand card base, strip of Gold Foil and Sweet Sugarplum card stock.
