The Holiday Catalogue is LIVE!!!! and a Launch Party

The 2016 Holiday is NOW LIVE and I am so excited to share it with here on Blog with Lots of Projects, in Classes between now and Christmas or by just sending you a catalogue.

Stampin' Up! really teased us with a a series on sneak peek video showing us some products before we could see the catalogue and you can see them as well HERE. There is also have a series of Spotlight and Instructional video on various products HERE

Tin Of Tags Project Kit - Sneak Peek

The Holiday Catalogue 2016 is almost here and I was very happy to create with it over the weekend. This is one of the really cute kits in the catalogue- Tin of Tags 

This kit took no time to put together and has great full colour instructions and matching stamp set. I will be running a class with this kit in October so your gifts will be ready to place under the tree. Keep an eye out for further details.

Thoughtful Branches Note Cards

I am happy to be back and sharing with you two simple note cards that I have made using the Thoughtful Branches Stamp Set. Make sure you are quick the stamp set and Beautiful Branches Thinlits dies are ONLY available till August 31st.

To make these cards I took 2 Note Cards and stamped the hills/stems and leaf in Old Olive and dotted flower head in both Sweet Sugarplum and Wisteria Wonder stamping them off to making them to appear fuller. I added the sentiments in Archival Basic Black Ink to finish off the cards.

Gorgeous Grunge with Large Number Framelits Birthday Card

I was asked to make some commission items for a friends recently for her brothers birthday. This one is from her Daughter. I did channel my inner 10 year old to choose her favourite bright colours. I was informed that he loved that card.

To start the card I took rainbow coloured inks from the Brights collection Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Tempting Turquoise and Rich Razzleberry. I stamped these with the Gorgeous Grunge stamp down left side of 2 pieces of Whisper White card stock slightly smaller than card front the second one for the inside of the card. Next I die cut the 40 in Silver Glimmer paper with the Big Shot. To make the 40 pop I stamped a larger splatter from the Gorgeous Grunge Set in Bermuda Bay ink and attached the 40 over using Stampin' Dilmensionals. I stamped the Happy and Birthday from the Crazy About You stamp set in Archival Basic Black ink on matching card stock to where they line up on the card and punched them with the Classic Label Punch. The "TH" from Number of Years stamp set was also stamped in the same ink and matching card to the rainbow. I attached the Whisper White panel to a basic Black Card front. To add a finishing touch I added some silver sequins from the Sequin Trim with Glue Dots.

Holly Jolly Greeting with Metallic Enamel Shapes Christmas Card

It is that time of year again. My first Christmas card of the the new Catalogue. I was inspired by some cards that Ruth Trice made a few months ago and gave it my own spin. I am looking forward to mass producing some ready for the Christmas Season.

I started this card with the stamped portion by arranging the word stamps on a large block. Next I stamped the words in Real Red ink onto Whisper White card stock and without reinking re stamped the words off set to the originals one. I then took the stars and dots and the snowflake stamps painting them with Gold Wink of Stellar, stamping them on the card around the words. Next I took a piece of Real Red card stock slightly smaller than the card front and painted the edge with clear Wink of Stellar to give a touch of shimmer. I adhered the Real Red and stamped layers to a Thick Whisper White card stock as a finishing touch I added a few Metallic Enamel Shapes in Gold. Here is video on how I put together the card

Confetti Celebration and Gorgeous Grunge with Large Letter Framelits Card using PPA310

We have a big birthday in our house this week and I thought this weeks Pals Paper Arts Sketch fitted what I had in mind perfectly. I was recently reminded that the Brick embossing folder is perfect for male/boy cards so I bought it with my son's card in mind and paired it with colour from our Regals colour family. 

I started the card with a piece of watercolour paper and with my Tip Top Taupe ink I pushed the lid of the ink pad to get a pool of ink onto the lid and wet my watercolour piece and with my Aqua Painter put a light wash of colour all over the piece and dried it with my Heat Tool. Next I stamped the texture stamp from the Timeless Textures stamp set in both full Tip Top Taupe ink and stamped off, I also added paint splatters from Gorgeous Grunge with Cajun Craze ink also with some stamped off. Using the Big Shot I embossed the watercolour piece with the Brick wall embossing folder and cut the 12 using the Large Laters Framelits from Crushed Curry card stock. I finished off the embossed piece by taking the Aqua Painter and Tip Top Taupe ink nd paint in the grout lines of the bricks and added some stars in Always Artichoke ink from the Confetti Celebrations Stamp Set. Also using the Confetti celebrations stamp set I stamped the YAY star in Island Indigo ink and "It's YOUR day" in Always Artichoke ink with on Whisper White card stock, I cute out the star with scissors and punch the word with the Duet Banner Punch and added sponged with some Crushed Curry and Cajun Craze ink. I created a base for my 12 using my 1 3/4" and 1 1/2" circle punches with Cajun Craze and Vellum card stock and clued them all tother flat using TomBow Multi Purpose Adhesive. I adhered the 12 piece using our Foam Adhesive strips which layers just perfectly higher than our Stampin' Dimensionals which I used to adhere the star and finally the banner directly to the background. I adhered the Watercolour piece to an Island Indigo card base with Fast Fuse to help combat the small amor of warping I had. As a final touch I carefully added Clear Wink of Stellar to the 12 to make it pop.
