Cupcakes and Carousel, Layered Letters Banner

I adore making things for and with my Granddaughter Ivy and I just couldn't resist making a banner for her room. Many of the products I have used are saying Retiring on May 31st - Cupcakes and Carousels Designer Paper Stack, Carousel Birthday, Layered Letters Alphabet, Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon and Calypso Coral Baker's Twine. I stamped the balloon from Lift me Up and Layered Letters on Vellum. The Clouds also from Lift Me Up and Carousel Birthday were stamped directly onto the patterned paper. I cute the patterned Paper with the Layering Circle Framelits along with co ordinating card stock in Early Espresso, Peekaboo Peach, Calypso Coral, So Saffron and Bermuda Bay Scallop circles. I added the holes with our hand held punches and treaded with the Baker's Twine and added the Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon bows to finish the banner off.

To order any of the products used to make this card you will have to be quick as the items on the Retirement List are selling out fast and will be Gone as of 31st May, simply go to my SHOP NOW button above to go to my Online Store or contact me to place an order.  Don't forget to use this month's Hostess Code.

Double Take Stamp Card - Stampin' Dreams May Blog Hop

I am playing along with a brand new Blog Hop today Stampin Dreams I hope you enjoy and I hope to lay along with these regularly. I have a confession to make, I bought these AMAZING Sprinkles Embellishments - full of various sequins and pearls from the Occasions catalogue and not used them yet and I was compelled to use them before they retire at the end of this month. I have paired them with a shaker card. The hero of the card in my opinion is the Thanks from the Double Take stamp set that I stamped on Vellum in Peekaboo Peach and Pool Party ink which is a 2 step stamp set. I paired it with the Cupcakes & Carousels Paper Stack which i stamped on using the Carousel Birthday and Lift me Up Stamp set using Peekaboo Peach,  Watermelon Wonder and Pool Party Inks . I cut a frame from the card front sized piece using my Stampin' Trimmer. I suspended the vellum across the fram added a Window Sheet and then added Foam Adhesive Strips. Before I added it to card I did add some glue to the base piece and added the sprinkles to it so there were some embellishments around the card even when it is standing added a whole lot of  embellishments and put the frame onto a Whisper White card base.

I hope you get a change to visit everyone participating in the hop and enjoy their projects

Carousel Birthday Collage Card #GDP085

Today I tried something a little different and out of my comfort zone. I had seen lots of people use the Carousel Birthday stamp set to create a collage which is something I never thought to do with this set. I have paired this with the Global Design Project Challenge 085 - Colour which was to choose 3 of the retiring 2015-2017 In Colors. I chose Tip Top Taupe Cucumber Crush and Delightful Dijon, I will miss these colours but not sure I have used them as a combo, they are really quite masculine together. I used the stamping off technique to create more interest to these 3 colours and added a 2015-2017 In Colour Doilies to ground the sentiment which I stamped on vellum. To finish the card off I placed it on a Tip Top Taupe card base and added a sprinkling of Metallic Enamel Shapes.

Carousel Birthday, Sweetheart Punch and Cupcakes and Carousel Card

I really adore this card and it really came to be from a stamping error. I stamped the Ferris Wheel from the Carousel Birthday stamp set in Calypso Coral ink and I either miss inked or miss stamped the middle of it. I pondered what to add to cover my mistake and grabbed my Sweetheart Punch and the Cupcakes and Carousel Paper stack and punch the heart from the argyle pattern, added it with Stampin' Dimensionals and added a liberal coating of clear Wink of Stella. I used my Blender Pen and Peekaboo Peach ink to colour the frosting on the cupcakes. I added this to the polka dot pattern from the paper stack on a Bermuda Bay card base. I added the Sentiment onto one of the labels from the Project Life Cards & Labels Framelits which I cut out in the Big Shot. I added some matching Peekaboo Peach enamel shapes and added it over a piece of Very Vanilla satin Ribbon to finish off the card.

Simple Carousel Birthday with Markers

This is a simple stamped card that I made for my display stamper assignment late last year. I adore the sentiments in the Carousel Birthday stamp set so I made them the focal point of the card, stamped in Early Espresso, I added the big top stamp which I coloured using the Peekaboo Peach, Calypso Coral and touch of Bermuda Bay Stampin' Write Markers under the flags. I added few Enamel Shapes in matching colours to finish the card.

Copper Carousel Birthday Card

I was inspired by my friend Denise Garrison who did some Copper Heat Embossing on Copper Foil Sheets. I love the simplicity of this project the Carousel Horse from the Carousel Birthday stamp set heat embossed in Cooper Embossing Powder on Cooper Foil Paper. I added an extra layer of the Foil Paper to add impact to the embossed piece. I added the sentiment from the Butterfly Basics Stamp set and scroll from the Carousel Birthday set also embossed using Veramark Ink and Copper Embossing Powder. To finish the Elegant Eggplant panel off I added Versamark around the edges and added more Cooper Embossing Powder.

Carried Away with Carousel Birthday Card

I am playing with this week's Freshly Made Sketches #275. Looking at the sketch the Carousel birthday Ferris Wheel jumped out at me. I also grabbed the Carried Away FREE Sale-a-Bration paper to pair with it. I kept it fairly simple. I stamped the ferris wheel on both pieces of patterned paper in Night of Navy and also the cupcake tops in Peekaboo Peach from the Lift Me Up stamp set. I cut the Smokey Slate paper ferris wheel and all the cupcake tops with the Layered Circle and Up & Away Framelits in the Big Shot. I added the 2 paper strips to finish the card front and layered it on Night of Navy and a Watermelon Wonder card base to finish.

Carousel Birthday with Cupcake & Carousel Paper and Embellishment Kit using SIP #86

After a rough afternoon yesterday. I needed some crafty therapy and decided to combine this weeks Stamp Ink Paper #86 Color Challenge and Fab Friday 105 Sketch Challenge. The colours Soft Yellow - So Saffron, Peach - Peekaboo Peach and Teal - Bermuda Bay, fitted perfect with the Cupcakes & Carousels Designer Paper Stack and Embellishment Kit and I just had to use the matching Carousel Birthday Stamp set to stamp the Big Top on the Gold Foiled Labelling Bermuda Bay. I added the So Saffron and Gold Bakers Twine, Gold Accented Tassel and Sequins from the Embellishment Kit to tie the gold together. I add a punch of peach I added the Ruched Ribbon and Enamel Shapes in Peekaboo Peach.

A close up look at all the gold accents from the Cupcakes & Carousels Embellishment Kit.

Carousel Birthday and Lift Me Up Cupcakes and Carousels Paper Paper GDP 072

I am totally in LOVE with Carousel Horse from the Carousel Birthday stamp set. It takes me right back to some special times in my childhood so I had to create this card with Silver Embossing and Masking using this weeks Global Design Project: Case the Designer for the design of the card.

I chose the cloud patterns from the Cupcakes and Carousels Paper Stack on an Early Espresso card base to start. To create the cloud circle I used our Circle Punches and adding some die cut clouds from the Up & Away Thinlits and sponged them Soft Sky ink  over the circle, then added those clouds to the circle for interest. The Carousel Horse is embossed with Silver on Vellum. I added the masked circle over our sweet Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon and added the sentiment from the Lift me Up stamp set.
