Stampin' Up! Petal Palette, Gallery Grunge and Happy Birthday Gorgeous Card

I have another creation made from items in my Use It Up Box. The three items I used are the Stampin' Up! Petal Palette stamp set Stampin' Blends coloured flower on a Stitched Shapes Vellum Circle, Gallery Grunge and Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set pieces. I added in some additional stamping from the Gorgeous Grunge and sentiment from the Petal Palette stamp set and a touch of sparkle with the Gold Faceted Gems.
Colours used Cajun Craze, Calypso Coral, Old Olive, Mossy Meadow and Grey Granite

Stampin' Up! Happy Birthday Gorgeous and Petal Burst Card

I love it when a failure turns into something I love. I knew I wanted to use the Stampin' Up! Stampin' Blends Markers to colour portions of the Petal Burst Embossing Folder. I had previously used a Whisper White card stock and a mixture of greens which didn't work. So I stuck with a monochromatic colour scheme of Old Olive and                            Mossy Meadow with a touch of Vellum. I also used Circle Punches and the Classic Label Punch. In my video below I showed how to colour Rhinestones as a finishing touch as suggested by one of my customers.

Lined Alphabet, Ballon Celebration and Happy Birthday Gorgeous Birthday Card

Who doesn't love receiving something with you name on it? I do especially with a less common name. I made this custom order card using the Lined Alphabet stamp set which I coloured using an aqua painter and reinker. The Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set was used for the Birthday sentiment. I sponged on the sky using Balmy Blue Ink before using stamped off Highland Heather Ink to stamp 2 balloons from the Balloon Celebration stamp set. I stamped a third Balloon in Highland Heather and the detail in Gorgeous Grape and punched using the coordination Balloon Bouquet Punch. I added bows and strings using a Stampin' Write Marker.

Rooted In Nature and Tabs for Everything Stamps with Frosted Floral Paper Masculine Cards

Ok so today's mammoth and final effort to get my Frosted Floral paper from the 2018 Holiday Catalogue resulted in 40 cards that I finished off this morning on my Facebook Page. I have paired it with the Rooted In Nature and Tabs for Everything stamp sets along with the 2 1/4" Circle and Triple Banner Punch.

Ink: Grey Granite, Tranquil Tide and Night of Navy

Card Stock: Tranquil Tide and Thick Whisper White

I also found a single sheet of this pattern and made 6 more birthday cards using the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set and Pretty Label Punch

Lift Me Up, Happy Birthday Gorgeous with Up & Away Thinlits Card

That card is one of the reason why a little quiet in November. I used a mix of current and retire Stampin' Up! stamps for my youngest son's Year 6 Graduation. The Current stamp sets I have used are Lift Me Up and Happy Birthday Gorgeous with Up & Away Thinlits. The theme for there Party was Circus/Carnival. They all had a Wonderful Night.

 

The Stampin Up! colours I have used are Pacific Point, Tangerine Tango, Real Red, Crushed Curry and Soft Sky.

This card isn't too fancy but has lots of images and fun colours and some simple dimension to add some interest. The 2 retired stamp sets I used are Feeling Sentimental and Carousel Birthday.

As you know the Stamparatus - stamp positioning tool is coming and would have helped me so much and made the task of mass producing 90 of these. It will be available in the upcoming Annual Catalogue. But will be using it in my classes starting this weekend. So come join in and have some fun.

Happy Wishes with Climbing Orchid and Brusho Crystal Color Birthday Card

I had a very special Birthday in my family this week my Mum turned 60.  I had so much fun playing with so many of the new products from the Stampin' Up! 2018 Sale-A-Bration and Occasions catalogues. I used 2 of the FREE $180 Sale-A-Bration products - Happy Wishes stamp set and Celebrate You Thinlts which pair perfectly to create phrases in Silver Embossing and Gold Glimmer Paper.  I used the Brusho Crystal Colour to create the background wash.

In addition to the new products used I also used the Climbing Orchid and Orchid Builder Framelits, Large Letter Framelits and Number For Years and Happy Birthday Gorgeous Stamp Set and Champagne Foil Sheets.

The Orchid is stamped in Rose Red ink on Watercolor Paper and I used the Aqua Painter to colour it with Rose Red and Flirty Flamingo inks

The Ink and Paper Colours used are Dapper Denim, Rose Red and Flirty Flamingo.

I created the Background in two layers on Watercolour paper using Brusho Crystal Color in Prussian Blue. The first layer I layed down clean water on the paper and sprinkled the powder on the paper and used my Aqua Painter to dissolve the powder into an even coverage and let that dry. For the second layer I sprinkled the powder on the dried paper the spritzed it with clean water to create darker blooms of colour. I added more powder and water till I got the effect I wanted. When this was dry I adhered to with a generous amount of wet glue and placed a heavy book over it so it dried as flat as possible.

Oh So Eclectic and Petal Garden with Stampin' Blends Birthday Card

Did you know we have out own brand of alcohol markers Stampin' Blends by Stampin' Up! arriving on November 1st. I have had some time to play with them in a really simple colouring using the Oh So Eclectic stamp set. The Stampin' Blends will be available individually and pairs but work best when using the light and dark pair of colours available in 12 of our amazing colours.

I started my stamping the Oh So Eclectic stamp set in Memento ink onto Whisper White card stock. Using the Bermuda Bay, Pool Party and Calypso Coral Stampin' Blends I really love how using just the pair of markers can create more than just 2 colours by blending the colours together and adding layers of colour. I chose 3 patterns from the Petal Garden Paper Stack and using the Eclectic Layers Thinlits, I die cut the first layer in the Big Shot with the cut out background die so the second layer peaks through. On the same layer I stamped one of the detail stamps in Rich Razzleberry ink from the Oh So Eclectic stamp set and the sentiment in Bermuda Bay ink from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set. The leaves are stamped on Vellum in Old Olive ink die cut also using the Eclectic Layers Thinlits in the Big Shot. I have hand cut out the flowers using Paper Snips adding them to the card front tucking the leaves in being them. To complete the card I added the card front to the patterned paper layers onto a Thick Whisper White card base.
