Stampin’ Up! In the Pines Bundle Slimline Christmas Card

I have made a number of car using the Stampin' Up! In The Pines stamp set  but with this card I made in a recent VIDEO keeping my stamping super simple using the same tree in a few 2020-2022 In Colors to add interest. I did step it up just a touch by making a feature tree cut using the matching Pine Woods Dies, adding a second colour to the the using a sponge dauber. Peaceful Pines and Christmas Pines with Mica Flakes Shaker Christmas Card

I have one final Christmas projects to share with you for the year. A super simple Shaker Card!

The card base is our Note Cards and Envelopes in Crumb Cake. I started with the piece of Whisper White card stock that could actually be in any festive colour. I stamped the star and dot stamp from the Christmas Pines stamps in Crumb cake and used the tree framelit from the Perfect Pines Framelits to make the window using the Big Shot. I then stamped the tree on the card base in Real Red Ink from the Peaceful Pines stamps through the Whisper White stamped piece for perfect placement. To create the shaker I attached a piece of Window Sheet to the back of the stamped Whisper White piece making sure to liberally use the Embossing Buddy her the sheet. Next I attached Foam Adhesive Strips to the outside of the tree she making sure the join is snug so no shaker bits come out. I added the Mica Flakes to the stamped tree on the card and attached the Whisper White piece over it pressing down on the foam adhesive to ensure it adheres properly. For a finishing touch I added a the Candy Cane Lane Baker's Twine to the bottom of note card a few ties finished with a bow! Now Its ready to SHAKE!

Jolly Christmas and Peaceful Pines with Large Polka Dot Christmas Card

My last Christmas Card of the year is this beauty and one of my favourites.

I started this card with the colour scheme that I took for the 2015-2017 In Colors -Watermelon Wonder, Mint Macron, and Cucumber Crisp. As you know if you follow my blog. I have loved the reindeer from Jolly Holiday and I stamped it various times in Watermelon Wonder on a strip of Whisper White card stock. I ten added Tis the Season sentiment in Cucumber Crush and Believe from Jolly Holiday in Mint Macron. Next I adhered this piece a strip if vellum and added two thin Cucumber Crush card stock to the topping bottom of the stamped strip. To created the background I embossed the front of the Mint Marcon card with the Large Polka Dot Embossing Folder on the Big Shot, then adhered the card stock and vellum piece to the card. For a finishing touch I tied a length of Gold Cording Trim around the card.

Peaceful Pines and Reason for the Season Stamps with Merry Moments Paper using Mojo Monday 427 Christmas Card

Another Mojo Monday Sketch this week with an abstract Christmas Tree

I started this card buy selecting which of the Square Framelits would work as a set of 4 on my card. I went with the Third one from the middle and cut it 4 times with Whisper White Card Stock. I then selected which christmas tree to stamp with from the Peaceful Pines Stamp Set. I didn't want the tree to be perfect so stamped 2 upper parts of the tree and 2 lower in Old Olive and arranged them on a large share piece of Smokey Slate card stock. I took all the colours for the card from the Merry Moments paper that I used under the tree pieces. For the sentiment I stamped in Real Red one of the saying from the Reason for the Season Set on Whisper White and punched in with the 2 1/2" Circle Punch and arranged and adhered all the pieces on a Real Red card. I added a Silver Ribbon bow as a final touch on the card.

Peaceful Pines Christmas Card

My First Christmas Card of the Year and I am hooked on the upcoming Holiday Catalogue starting September 1st 2015

I have used the Peaceful Pines Stamp Set and Framelits to cut both trees and give texture to the Mossy Meadow tree. I have placed both trees on a Tag made from Winter Wonderland Vellum Stack the other touches of gold are from the Cording Trim and Glitter Ribbon and to finish it off I used the Softly Falling Embossing Folder.
