Wedding Card - Double Take, Hardwood, Banners for You

Today I am participating in an International Blog Highlight. The Theme is Wedding. I created this card using two of the the Retiring 2015-2017 In Colours Tip Top Taupe and Mint Macron as well as the Double Take stamp set which I embossed in gold and added the Mint Marcon shadow on Vellum. I finished the sentiment using the Banners for You stamp set and matching Bunch of Banners Framelits. I created the background using the Hardwood stamp with Whisper White Ink on Tip Top Taupe card stock. I finished the card by adding a Gold Foil rose using the Rose Garden Thinits with the Precision Plate in the Big Shot and some Linen Thread.

Work of Art and Thoughts and Prayers Card with Video

I have finished the kit I have been working on for the past 2 days in between life. Once again like my card yesterday I have had to rework to due to some retires colours and products. I have loved playing with these old designs.

To start the card I took the Work of Art stamp set and used to big swoosh stamped off in Mossy Meadow ink stamped onto the Bottom of the Very Vanilla card layer. Next I took one of the smaller swooshes and stamped it vertically to the right of the Mossy Meadow in Lost Lagoon and without reinking to the left vertically to create a background. I then took the tree from Thoughts and Prayers and stamped it Chocolate Chip Ink over the background stamping. I took the Big Shot and Label from the Rose Garden Thinlits and cut it out from Lost Lagoon card stock. Using the co ordinating stamp set I chose the sentiment and stamped it in Tip Top Taupe on a scrap of Very Vanilla card stock and punched it out with the 1 3/4" Circle Punch. Using the Tip Top Taupe Ink I edged the circle and stamped card layer. I adhered the die cut label directly to the card using Fast Fuse and the sentiment with Stampin Dimentionals. These layers were then adhered to a Tip Top Taupe card base to finish the card.

Rose Wonder Stamp and Rose Wonder Thinlits with Typeset Paper Birthday card

Time for a softer birthday card today using the Rose Wonder Stamp and Rose Garden Bundle from the 2016 Occasion Catalogue.

To make this card I started by cutting the largest flower and leaves from the Rose Garden Thinlits with Whisper White card stock and the Label using Very Vanilla card stock. I sponged the flower lightly with Watermelon Wonder using a small wedge of our Stampin Sponges purposely leaving it uneven to give interest. I sponged the leaves with Wild Wasabi and set it aside. I stamped the label die cut next using Tip Top Taupe for the outline, Mint Macron for the Happy Birthday and Watermelon Wonder for the flowers using the Rose Wonder Stamp Set. To build the card base used Thick Whisper White card stock and covered the whole card front with a piece of Typeset Speciality Paper. Next I adhered the sponged flower using the Fine Tip Glue Pen and the Label with Stampin' Dimensionals. For a finishing touch I added a length of Mint Macron Dotted Lace Ribbon tied to the top of the card.

Rose Wonder Stamps and Rose Garden Thinlits Faux Embossing Birthday Card

I am very excited it is only just a few day till the 2016 Occasions Catalogue and here is on of my favourite bundles which saves you 15% from the upcoming Occasions Catalogue that starts on January 5th 2016.

To make this card I started by die cutting the flower and leaf shapes from the Rose Garden Thinlits using the Big Shot and Precision Plate to give a beautiful clean cut on our Whisper White card stock. I then used our NEW Big Shot dies Brush and Foam Pad to remove all the fiddly internal parts of the die. Next I arranged and glued down the flower and leaf pieces on a Thick Whisper White Card Base. It is OK if the pieces over lap the edge as they can be easily trimmed off with your Paper Snips. This creates your Faux Embossing Background easily.  Next I stamped the frame and a sentiment from the matching Rose Wonder stamp set using Pool Party and Blushing Bride inks and cut the frame using the Rose Garden Thinlits and Big Shot. To add a finishing touch I took a length of our Pool Party Glitter ribbon and adhered it to the card.
