Lovely Inside & Out Card

Only as I blog this card did I realise that I made this card with the title of the stamp set Lovely Inside & Out from Stampin! Up!,  I actually used the whole Bundle which saves you 10% to created this card which I made a for class on the weekend. My class attendees loved this card and especially love the Tangerine Tango used in the card really made the whole project pop

To create the background I took the thumb print type stamp and did generation stamping in Dapper Denim, Pear Pizzaz and Tangerine Tango on a piece of Whisper White card stock. Next I die cut a window in the card using the co-ordinating Lovely Words Thinlits in the Big Shot using the Precision Plate. I backed this window with a scrap of Dapper Denim card stock from my stash of paper.  To the word Lovely I added "Inside & Out" from the Inside & Out stamp set in Dapper Denim ink onto Pear Pizazz card stock and flagged the ends using the Triple Banner Punch with the NEW Mini Dimensionals. The stamped card front was matted on a piece of Tangerine Tango card stock and then adhered to a Thick Whisper White card base. To add some sparkle and shine to the card I scattered a few Glitter Enamel Dots to the project.

Happy Birthday Thinlit and Pattern Party Decorative Mask Card

I have previously played with our NEW Embossing Paste and while I was making that card I made another card base using the paste and the Pattern Party Decorative Masks

To colour the Embossing Paste base I used our Sponge Brayers along with Tranquil Tide, Pacific Point and Soft Suede inks and used the same technique I have shown in this Video

I added 2 layered Happy Birthday Thinlits that I cut in Tranquil Tide and Soft Suede in the Big Shot using the Precision Plate on top of a Vellum Stitched Shapes Framelit circle. To finish the card I layered it on Thick Whisper White card base and a few layers of Whisper White card stock.

Gold Thank You Eastern Palace Bundle Card

I adored how elegant this card by Katy Harrison is that I found on Pinterest. I recently remade it for my 2018-2018 Annual Catalogue Launch I made a few changes a few details to the card.

I used the Eastern Palace Speciality Paper strip on a Thick Very Vanilla Card base
 with the Eastern Gold Vinyl stickers that I cut in half tucked under the paper. For the medallion I used two of the Eastern Medallion Dies cut them using the Prescision Plate in the Big Shot and sniped it out from the card stock so it is a single piece. I layered on top of this a gold foil circle and a Very Vanilla circle with a stamped thank you from the Eatern Beauty Stamp Set with Basic Black Archival Ink. I used Lots of dimension to take this simple elegant card to the next level.

Enjoy Today - Eastern Palace - Eastern Beauty and Eastern Medallions Card

 I cannot tell you how in love I am with the Eastern Palace Suite. I wanted to show case the beautiful Eastern Palace Speciality Designer Series Paper. You do get two speciality foil pieces but here I have showcased the statement pattern that is inspired by peacocks feathers. I have used both sides on the pattern as the base if the card. The colours shown in this card are 3 of the new 2017-2017 In Colors Lemon Lime Twist, Tranquil Tide, and Fresh Fig along with a current 2016-2018 In Color Dapper Denim.

In the Big Shot I used the Flower Framelit and the Petal Thinlit together to cut out the flower using the Magnetic Platform too keep them from moving in Fresh Fig card stock . I love how the Thinlit die makes the partial cut to create to petals. The flower centre is a soon to be released Faceted Gold Gem, they are just so special and sparkly. Next I stamped the sentiment and punched with 1" Circle Punch adhering it with dimensionals to the card. I added Ruched Dapper Denim Ribbon.

Eastern Medallions with Eastern Palace Paper Card

I love when our Stampin' Up! products are more than meets the eye. Our Eastern Medallion  Thinlits are certainly one of these products, a number of the Thinlits in this set partially cut to create flower like petals like the one below that I have cut in Gold Foil. I then used the Layering Circle Framelits to cut it out. I layered a piece Lemon Lime Twist Card stock under the gold piece so it peeks through. On the Lemon Lime Twist card base I layered Fresh Fig card stock and a few paper from the Eastern Palace Designer Series Paper.

Eastern Palace Suite ESAD Blog Hop

I am participating in the ESAD Blog Hop - more info below, which is to showcase the two Eastern Palace Bundles that Stampin' Up! have made available ONLY for the month of May ahead of the 2017-2018 Annual Catalogue release. To make this card I have used 2 of the Eastern Medallions to create window in a piece if Whisper White card stock big the Big Shot and Precision Plate. I stamped the accents and sentiments from the Eastern Beauty stamp set using Fresh Fig, Dapper Denim, Tranquil Tide and Lemon Lime Twist inks, I added a strip of the Dapper Denim Gold Foiled paper from the Eastern Palace Specialty Paper. I layered this Panel with Stampin' Dimensionals onto a piece of Tranquil Tide card stock that I cut a window in with my scissors to show the Fresh Fig card stock base.

Fly High - Up & Away Thinlits National Scrapbook Day 2017

I wanted to wish you all a very Happy National Scrapbook 2017 and to celebrate I wanted to share with you a recent scrapbook page that I made using the retiring Lift me Up Bundle and Layered Letter Alphabet. I created the embellishment column using the Lift Me Up Bundle which is retiring as bundle which you save 10% on but, the individual items - Lift Me Up stamp set and Up & Away Thinlits will be available in the new 2017-2018 Annual Catalogue separately.  I paired the Cupcakes and Carousel Paper Stack with the balloon builder pieces for a statement piece. The colours for the page where taken from the paper stack. I stamped the title using the Layered Letters Alphabet in Calypso Coral, So Saffron, Bermuda Bay, Early Espresso, and Peekaboo Peach. To finish the layout added some Enamel Shapes to guide your eye move down the page.

Eastern Beauty with Eastern Medallions Thinlits Card

I am really loving the soon to be released Eastern Palace Suite that customers can order from May 1st....more details to come on this. For today's card I was inspired in a reverse way by my lovely friend in the US Demonstrator Denise - Ladybug Stampin who was making a mask using the Eastern Medallion Thinlits with Window sheets to sponge into a card. I took that concept and made a similar pattern in Very Vanilla card stock in the Big Shot and sponged using our Sponge Daubers onto an addition piece under the cut outs in Dapper Denim, Fresh Fig, Tranquil Tide and Lemon Lime Twist Inks. I added the simple sentiment also in Lemon Lime Twist ink and to finish the card off layered the sponged and die cut pieces into a layer of Fresh Fig card stock onto a Lemon Lime Twist card base.

I will be holding a Stamp-a-Stack class on May 21st 1pm where we will using the Eastern Palace Suite making 6 cards 2 each of 3 Designs including envelopes for $25 on the Central Coast, NSW. Please contact me for further details and to RSVP.

Wedding Card - Double Take, Hardwood, Banners for You

Today I am participating in an International Blog Highlight. The Theme is Wedding. I created this card using two of the the Retiring 2015-2017 In Colours Tip Top Taupe and Mint Macron as well as the Double Take stamp set which I embossed in gold and added the Mint Marcon shadow on Vellum. I finished the sentiment using the Banners for You stamp set and matching Bunch of Banners Framelits. I created the background using the Hardwood stamp with Whisper White Ink on Tip Top Taupe card stock. I finished the card by adding a Gold Foil rose using the Rose Garden Thinits with the Precision Plate in the Big Shot and some Linen Thread.

Thanks - Life Me Up Bundle with Cupcakes and Carousel DSP Card

This card has to be one of my favourites that I made as a Display Stamper back at November's OnStage Live in Brisbane last year. I had the detailed Hot Air Balloon left over from a previous project. I put it up against my favourite argyle pattern from the Cupcakes and Carousels and it got a bit lost so I attached it to a piece of vellum to tone down paper. I simply added a sentiment from the matching stamp set punched out using the Classic Label Punch over a piece of Very Vanilla Thick Baker's Twine.

OnStage Local Sydney 2017 Team Gifts - Lift Me Bundle, Kinda Eclectic and Brushwork Alphabet

I am very excited today, I am at Onstage Local in Luna Park Sydney #OnStage2017 which is Stampin' Up! local convention. We will see some of the fun all the participants are having at our LIVE event in Amsterdam, as well as local presentations. I always make a special page for myself and my team to wear with our name badges.

I cut the detailed Hot Air Balloon from the Up & Away Thinlits in Pacific Point using the Precision Plate in the Big Shot. Stamped the smaller Hot Air Balloon from the Lift Me Up stamp set in stamped of Crumb Cake and the using Emerald Envy ink with the Brushwork Alphabet set stamped our initials on Whisper White. I die cut the Balloon and Cloud from Up & Away Thinlits and circle in Crushed Curry from the Layering Circle Framelits which I then stamped in the matching ink with the Sun from the Kinda Eclectic.

I chose all these colours to match the Party Animal Papers which I used to decorate a Full Wide Stamp Case which I filled with some OnStage essentials for the day.

Dragonfly Dreams Bundle, Watercolor Pencils and Brushwork Alphabet Card

I made this card with a group of scrapbookers last weekend. I really want to show them how awesome our watercolour pencils can look as a background with some Emboss Resist using the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set on Shimmery White card stock. I have added a You Tube video on how I made the background of the card below. I decorated the watercolour background with 2 layered dragonflies from the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits cut in the Big Shot using Vellum and Dazzling Details Glimmer Paper. I added the Sentiment which is custom from the Brushwork Alphabet stamp set. I adore how the letters link up to give a perfect handwritten look. To finish the card I added some silver Metallic Enamel Shapes.

Serene Scenery with Scenic Sayings and Detailed Dragonflies Card #GDP080

I have had a head cold this week so I am keeping it simple with my cards, it's all my foggy brain can handle. I took on this weeks Global Design Project 080 Case the Designer - the designer is the amazing Louise Sharp. I was inspired my neglected stamp set Scenic Saying and the congrats stamp sun rays that I took the Serene Scenery Paper Stack design with the matching rays to use s my background. I stamped the congrats in Delightful Dijon ink on Whisper White card stock and cut it out using Stitched Shapes Frameilts as well a vellum circle in the larger size. I also took the bee from Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits and cut it in the Big Shot using the Precision Plate out of vellum and coloured it with Delightful Dijon Ink. I added a off cut of the Serene Scenery paper and added the reverse pattern to ground the sentiment.

I used the off cut from the Paper Stack to decorate the inside of the card using a sentiment from Banners for You on Vellum punched out with the Banner Punch.
