Sunburst Thinlits with Feel Goods and Balloon Celebration Stamp using Global Design Project #025 with VIDEO

I have given the Global Design Project Colour Challenge #025 (Smokey Slate, Basic Grey and Daffodil Delight) a go this afternoon with a few Periscope friends. I had a the idea to make a stormy sky with sun rays as soon as I saw the colours.

To start I cut 2 Sunburst Thinlits on in a Whisper White and Daffodil Delight on the Big Shot using the Magnetic Platform. I took a Thick Whisper White card base and the white Sunburst using it as a mask and sponged the card base with Smokey Slate Ink making sure it is not smooth and blended as I wanted to give it some texture. Next I put the mask aside and stamped the clouds from Balloon Celebration in Basic Grey Archival Ink. Now onto the sentiment I chose the sunshine one from the Feel Goods stamp set in Basic Grey Archival ink on Whisper White.  I cut the sentiment and a piece of Silver Foil sheet with Circle Framelits in the Big Shot using the Magnetic Platform. To add a touch of shimmer I used Clear Wink of Stellar on the Grey clouds in the background then I sponged the sentiment and Sunburst with Daffodil Delight ink. To put it all together adhered the Sunburst and Foil Circle flat to the card and the sentiment with Dimensional Adhesive. Some single silver sequins from The Silver Sequin trim finished off the card.

You can watch how I made this card on Periscope till 3pm 5th March or Katch anytime.
