Confetti Celebration and Gorgeous Grunge with Large Letter Framelits Card using PPA310

We have a big birthday in our house this week and I thought this weeks Pals Paper Arts Sketch fitted what I had in mind perfectly. I was recently reminded that the Brick embossing folder is perfect for male/boy cards so I bought it with my son's card in mind and paired it with colour from our Regals colour family.

I started the card with a piece of watercolour paper and with my Tip Top Taupe ink I pushed the lid of the ink pad to get a pool of ink onto the lid and wet my watercolour piece and with my Aqua Painter put a light wash of colour all over the piece and dried it with my Heat Tool. Next I stamped the texture stamp from the Timeless Textures stamp set in both full Tip Top Taupe ink and stamped off, I also added paint splatters from Gorgeous Grunge with Cajun Craze ink also with some stamped off. Using the Big Shot I embossed the watercolour piece with the Brick wall embossing folder and cut the 12 using the Large Laters Framelits from Crushed Curry card stock. I finished off the embossed piece by taking the Aqua Painter and Tip Top Taupe ink nd paint in the grout lines of the bricks and added some stars in Always Artichoke ink from the Confetti Celebrations Stamp Set. Also using the Confetti celebrations stamp set I stamped the YAY star in Island Indigo ink and "It's YOUR day" in Always Artichoke ink with on Whisper White card stock, I cute out the star with scissors and punch the word with the Duet Banner Punch and added sponged with some Crushed Curry and Cajun Craze ink. I created a base for my 12 using my 1 3/4" and 1 1/2" circle punches with Cajun Craze and Vellum card stock and clued them all tother flat using TomBow Multi Purpose Adhesive. I adhered the 12 piece using our Foam Adhesive strips which layers just perfectly higher than our Stampin' Dimensionals which I used to adhere the star and finally the banner directly to the background. I adhered the Watercolour piece to an Island Indigo card base with Fast Fuse to help combat the small amor of warping I had. As a final touch I carefully added Clear Wink of Stellar to the 12 to make it pop.

Brushwork Alphabet and Baby Bear with Playful Palette Card

I was reminded that today its a super cute one year olds birthday so I just had to whip her up a cute card and I also had to personalise it just for her with the Brushwork Alphabet.

I stared by choosing my colour scheme and paper from the Playful Palette 6x6 Paper Stack. Next I stamped the Baby Bear teddy in Peekaboo Peach, Basic Grey Archival and Basic Black Archival inks on Very Vanilla card stock and matted it on Basic Black card stock. Next I cut a strip of the patterned paper and matted it into a piece of Sweet Sugarplum card stock to the length of the card. I used this piece to work out where to stamp the name and stamped it using the brushwork Alphabet in Sweet Sugarplum ink onto a Blushing Bride card base. I wrapped and tied a bow using the Peekaboo Peach Ruched Ribbon the patterned paper piece and attached it under the stamped name with Fast Fuse adhesive and then paced the Baby Bear piece over it with Stampin' Dimensionals. I cut a number one out from the Large Number Framelits with Silver Glimmer Paper and attached it using Foam Adhesive Strips beside the bear. As a finishing touch added a few 2016-2018 In Colour Enamel Shapes to the card and bear.

Confetti Celebration and Balloon Builders Window Sheet Card using #GDP045

I have been inspired by both Jennifer McGuire and Wendy Cranford's Window Sheets cards over the last bit. They really intimidated me but I bit the bullet and kept it really really simple and incorporated this weeks Global Design Project # 045 Colour Challenge

To start the card I took one of our 12x12 Window Sheets and trimmed it to a card front size  the scored and folded it in half. Next I cut 4 pieces of Whisper White card stock and trimmed it to the width of the card and approx 2.5" tall. I took one of these pieces to decorate for the card front I used the Confetti Celebration stamp set using Basic Black Archival Ink I stamped the Garland and Time to Party Sentiment, I also stamped the Happy Birthday on one of the other pieces for the inside as well. Using a Smokey Slate and Melon Mambo Stampin' Write Markers I coloured the garland and both sentiments. I stamped two balloons from the Balloon Builder stamp set one in Smokey Slate and Melon Mambo Ink and punched them out using the Balloon Bouquet Punch and also two plain white balloons for later. To stamp the YAY from the Confetti Celebration stamp set I took a piece of Vellum and stamped it with Melon Mambo Ink, I did find it difficult to get the image solid on the vellum so used my Blender Pen to smooth it out, dried the ink with my Heat Tool and trimmed it out using my scissors and adhered it to the front panel using a few drops of TomBow Multipurpose Glue. Next I stamped the two balloon strings with the String stamp from Balloon Builder stamp set in Staz On ink directly onto the front of the Window Sheet being careful not to wobble as it is such a slick surface. Now to assemble all the pieces I started with the Whisper White pieces starting with the front piece lining it up at the bottom of the window sheet and adding another on the inside to cover the adhesive and repeated this for the other flap as well. I added the balloons offset to the front of the card bast and covered them on the inside with the blank balloons. The last 2 finishing touches I added Clear Wink Of Stella to the garland and balloons and a thin strip of Silver Glimmer paper to the top of each side of the card for a POP.

Banners For You, Irresistibly Yours Paper, May Flowers Framelits Card using PPA309

The Irresistibly Yours Speciality Paper has been calling me for a while an today was the day to break it out and pair it with the weeks Pals Paper Art Colour Challenge

To start the card I took out new Sponge Brayer and a piece of the Irresistibly Yours Speciality Paper and inked it with both Sahara Sand and Sweet Sugarplum. I made sure to buff the glaze on the card with a tissue to reveal the pattern on the paper. Using the Big Shot I die cut 2 flowers in Sahara Sand and Island Indigo card stock 2 leaves in Always Artichoke card stock from the May Flower Framelits and scribble in Sweet Sugarplum acrd stock from Swirly Scribbles and attached this to the bottom of the card. I offset the 2 flowers and and added the 2 leaves and attached it over the scribble border. I stamped the banner from the Banners For You in Sahara Sand ink on Vellum and sentiment in Sweet Sugarplum ink and attached it to the card using tomboy multipurpose glue on the shadows so it doesn't show. I attached this piece to an Island Indigo card base to finish the card.

To start the card I stamped the tree leaves in Bermuda Bay, the trunk in Soft Suede and 3 apples in Flirty Flamingo from Thoughtful Branches and then used the matching dies from Beautiful Branches in the Big Shot to cut out the stamped images. I then stamped the stamped the sentiment also from Thoughtful Branches in Dapper Denim ink. Confetti Celebration & Sprinkles Punch Shaker Card with GDP#043

I really love shaker cards and could not resist to make one for this weeks Global Design Project Theme Challenge - Party

I started by cutting a Dapper Denim card stock to a card front size and die cut it using the Big Shot using the Project Life Cards & Labels Framelits to cut a window and stamped the frame using Dapper Denim ink with the banner stamp from Confetti Celebrations stamp set and added a piece of Window seat to the back of the frame. Next I stamped the Hooray in Smokey Slate ink onto Smokey Slate card stock and die cut using the Layering Circle Framelits in the Big Shot and attached it to the front of the frame. I inked the Time to Party stamp also from Confetti Celebrations with the Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach and Sweet Sugarplum  Stampin' Write Makers and stamped onto Whisper White card stock and punched with Decorative Label Punch and attached it to the bottom of the frame. To make the shaker I added Foam Adhesive Strips around the inside frame on the back of the card front and filled it with punched shapes in the matching colours and some Silver Glimmer Paper ones punched using the Sprinkles Punch. To make the backing for the shaker I stamped a piece of Whisper White card stock with the Ballon in Smokey Slate and Stars in Peekaboo Peach inks from the same stamp set and attached it to the Foam Adhesive Strips to complete the shaker and adhered the Shaker to a Thick Whisper White card base to complete the card.

Falling Flowers & Bunch of Blossoms, Swirly Scribbles & May Flower Framelits with #WWYS71

I am so happy to be participating in the What Will you Stamp Challenge Blog this week as I have the stamp set Falling Flowers and decided to CASE the layout my Fairy Celebration card from last week.

To start the card I chose the colours Tip Top Taupe Card Base, Mint Macaron trimmed down card front and Sweet Sugarplum for the flower and Pear Pizazz for the leaf. I started by stamping the Flower from the Falling Flowers stamp set in Sweet Sugarplum on Sweet Sugarplum card stock. Next I embossed the Mint Macaron piece with the Petal Burst Embossing folder in the Big Shot. While I had the Big Shot out I die cut the largest circle in Silver Glimmer paper from Swirly Scribbles, the Flower and Leaf from the May Flower Framelits, using the Die Brush to remove the intricate die cuts from the Dies and little pieces from the die cuts. I assembled the card using Fast Fuse on the embossed piece attaching it the card base. Tombow Multi Purpose Glue on both the leaf and circle. To give to Flower some dimension I used my Blender Pen and Sweet Sugarplum ink to colour on some of the petals and attached it to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment from the Bunch Of Blossoms stamp set in Sweet Sugar Plum onto a scrap of Vellum. You can either let it dry or used our Heat Tool on setting to dry the ink. I then punched it out with the shorter end of the Decorative Label Punch and placed it back in the punch to shorten it and adhered it using Fast Fuse all over the vellum.

Baby Bear, Gorgeous Grunge with Playful Palette Paper Card

I really just adore this Baby Bear Stamp. It was a stamp set I would not normally purchase but I won it as part of our OnStage demonstrator event in April and I am so glad I did and he is just too adorable. I love how realistic he is.

I started by stamping the bear from the Baby Bear stamp set onto Whisper White card stock. After much experimenting I have found it best to stamp the bear images in the order 2, 1, 3. This helped me to line up the arm holes as I stamped the layers which resulted in almost perfectly stamped bear (we can't all per perfect. Its a handmade card!). The colours I have used for the bear are stamped of Smoky Slate ink for layer 1, Smokey Slate ink Layer 2 and Archival Basic Grey ink for Layer 3. I matted this stamped piece onto a piece of Peekaboo Peach. Next I stamped a Thick Whisper White card base with the smallest splatters stamp for the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set in Peekaboo Peach, Emerald Envy and Sweet Sugarplum inks. I added a strip of splattered patterned paper from the Playful Palette Paper Stack. At this point i wanted to add a sentiment and did so from Baby Bear stamp set in Peekaboo Peach and Sweet Sugarplum Ink. If I was too make the card again I would not use the Peekaboo Peach ink as it didn't show up as well. As a finishing touch I tied some Sweet Sugarplum Ruched Ribbon around the card and attached the bear stamped piece with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Bunch Of Blossoms, Thoughtful Banners with Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate Card

The NEW Stampin' Up! Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate Card is so beautiful Gold on one side and Silver on the other printed on our Window Sheets which are sturdy and thick. I really love the effect on this card.

I started this card by cutting and folding a Dapper Denim Card base and cut the front panel just below half. Next I cut the Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate Card to the width of the card and cut it to the desired height attached it to the inside of the card using Tombow Multipurpose Glue and covered the inside of the card with another layer of Dapper Denim card stock to hide the adhesive. For the front I cut thin strips of of Gold Foil Sheet and adhered it to above and below the Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate Card to finish it off. To make the flower I stamped the large solid petal from Bunch of Blossoms stamped off three times in Dapper Denim ink onto a strip of Whisper White card stock. I used the next layer stamp stamped off once over the first layer of stamping. To finish the petals I brushed them with Embossing Buddy and stamped the outline stamp is Versamark ink and coated with Gold Embossing Powder then melted using the Heat Tool. The flower centre was made using the smallest small flower stamped in Dapper Denim Ink and the dots stamp embossed in gold over it. All the stamped pieces were punched out using the Blossom Builder Punch and assembled the flower using Glue Dots for the petals and a Stampin' Dimensional for the centre. The sentiment is stamped from Thoughtful Banners starting with the solid stamp stamped off in Dapper Denim Ink and the the thank you stamped over the top and finally punched with the Classic Label Punch and placed it back in the punch to shorten it and adhered it using Stampin' Dimensionals to finish the card.
