Swirly Frames and Fabulous Flamingo Card

I had so much fun a few months ago with some of the NEW products from the 2018-2019 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue when I was preparing for being Display Stamper at our OnStage event. 

To tell you the truth the Swirly Frames stamp set did stump me for a while, so I decided to go for it and make a crazy background and paired it with the Fabulous Flamingo stamp set for a punch of colour.

The main frame is stamped with Basic Grey ink and I masked off this space and stamped all the other frames in Smokey Slate ink from the Swirly Frames stamp set. I cut a scrap of vellum to fit inside the main frame and stamped it using the Fabulous Flamingo in Tranquil Tide and Lemon Lime Twist inks. This piece really creates a lovely translucent look. The Flamingo is stamped in my go to colours of Powder Pink and stamped off Berry Burst and hand cut it our and popped it up with Stampin' Dimensionals and attached it all to Berry Burst card base.
