I stumbled upon making this Stampin' Up! Ornate Layers Dies. I have used just one Die for all the paper and sentiment strips for a simple and elegant card. I have used the matching Ornate Garden Paper for the foiled strips and Ornate Thanks stamp set in Cajun Craze and Terracotta Tile which are the perfect pairing with the Foil and Gilded Gems

I recently asked for a colour challenge over at  SU! Color Challenge and was given Night of Navy, Bermuda Bay and Melon Mambo. I made 2 cards and this is the second. You can see the first card HERE. I have also shared how to make it in a recent video. I have Paired the Stampin' Up! Ornate Style and Thanks stamp sets and Ornate Boders dies. With a touch of retirees silver glimmer paper to finish.

It Starts With Art and Ornate Thanks Colouring Card

This was my April thank you card for my customers. I paired the new with old using the ornate Thanks stamp set with the retiring It Starts With Art stamp set and Follow Your Art Paper. I did all my colouring using Stampin' Blends and used the Stampartus to stamp the sentiment in the perfect placement. I added Wink of Stella to add some shimmer to the stamped sequins that finishes the card.

Stampin’ Up! Ornate Style and Garden, Ornate Layers and Stitched Shapes Card

I wanted to challenge myself by using some of my not so favourite patterns from the Stampin' Up! Ornate Garden Speciality Paper and it turned out to be a card I really love and I shared it in a recent VIDEO. I show how I use The Whisper White Craft Ink Refill to make the petals of the Ornate Style Daisy and Stampin' Blends for the flower centre. I added the beautiful Stitched details using the Ornate Layers and Stitched Shapes Dies. I paired 2 sentiments together from the Ornate Thanks stamp set. I added Gilded Gems to hide the Glue Dots under the Vellum and to draw your eye to the sentiment.

Stampin' Up! Ornate Thanks with Ornate Borders and Layers Dies Card

I recently asked for a colour challenge over at SU! Color Challenge and was given Night of Navy, Bermuda Bay and Melon Mambo. I made 2 cards and this is the first. I have paired together the Ornate Style Borders and Layers dies to create a multi layered card. Using a single stamp from the Ornate Thanks stamp set to make a bold statement. No additional embellishments are required on the card. I do how the use of the vellum almost creates an additional colour and softens the Night of Navy.
