I recently made this Masculine style Sympathy Card using the Beauty Of the Earth and 2021-2023 Shimmer Vellum Paper along with Inspired Thoughts and matching Inspiring Canopy Dies. The Ornate Frames Dies worked perfectly with this sentiment. There was no further embellishments needed a the Shimmer Vellum dies all the work with its subtle shimmer.

Stampin’ Up! Inspired Thoughts with Inspiring Canopy Linen Sympathy Card

I totally missed the Stampin' Up! Linen Speciality Paper in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue. So when I bought it I wanted to see what I would with it, this my first play which I shared in VIDEO using the Blending Brushes to colour it. I also used the Inspired Canopy Dies to cut the Linen, it requires a few more passes in the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine - I used 4 to get a clean cut. I added the sentiment from matching Inspired Thoughts stamp set which I cut with the Ornate Frames Dies. I left the card right there, with the linen texture it didn't need anything else - which for me is VERY hard to do.

Stampin' Up! Well Said, Feels Like Frost and Peaceful Boughs Sympathy Card

As you may have already worked out I absolutely adore the Stampin' Up! Feels Like Frost paper and have used it here for a Sympathy card and let it be the hero of the card. I have paired it with Well Said stamp and Peaceful Boughs bundle with a touch of Scalloped Linen Ribbon for the sentiment. As always a touch of Vellum was needed and added it behind the sentiment with the Beautiful Boughs Dies.

Heartfelt Blooms Sympathy Card

I recently has the sad need to make a sympathy card for my neighbour. My Motto when making these cards is keep it simple. I used the Heartfelt Blooms stamp set from Stampin' Up! that you can earn during Sale-a-Bration 2018. Its a Distinktive stamp which is a new style of Red Rubber stamp and I was ample to stamp this Rich Razzleberry image with is one stamping.

Since I had such a perfect image I didn't want to stuff up the sentiment also from the Heartfelt Blooms stamp set. I used my coming soon in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue Stamparatus to line it up just perfectly. I have the photos below to show you what I did.

I placed my stamped card in the corner of the Stamparatus along with the image sheet from the Stamp-a-ma-jig/or piece of Window Sheet to test out my lining up before I committed to it on the card with ink.

Stamp on the image sheet to try out positioning. Move the stamp wipe of image sheet and try again if you are not happy with where you will be stamping.

When happy remove image sheet, ink up stamp and stamp on paper

Lovely as a Tree Sympathy Card

Here is the other Sympathy card I made this week a more Masculine Sympathy Card

I have made this card quite simply using a single tree stamp, texture and a simple sentiment

To Colour the tree I have stamped it with Pistachio Pudding and then I have used the brush end of the Stampin' Write Markers define the tree. I started with the Baked Brown Sugar colouring all the branches, then using the remaining green markers to thump on the tree to created a mottled effect.

Supplies:

Ink: Versamark

Markers: Baked Brown Sugar, Pear Pizazz, Wild Wasabi, Old Olive, Pistachio Pudding

Card Stock: Pistachio Pudding, Baked Brown Sugar, Old Olive, Very Vanilla, White Vellum

Accessories:  Woodgrain Embossing Folder, Big Shot, Pewter Stampin' Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Snail Adhesive, Stampin Dimensionals

Everything Eleanor Sympathy Card

I always find sympathy cards quite hard to make. But with this one I was given a clear brief. 

Pink, Flowers and Glittery

I have managed to used all current In colours on this card. I just love how well they work so well together.

So I may have gone off brief a little and used shimmer rather than glitter but I love the Smooch Spritz so much I couldn't resist
