Birthday Wit with Picture Perfect Perfect Birthday Paper Birthday Card

I don't always like to play favourites but the Birthday Wit stamp set from the 2018 Occasions catalogue from Stampin' Up! is my current fav. I love how cheeky the sentiments in the set are and that cover a variety of birthday occasions. In particular this stamp from the set paired with the Picture Perfect Birthday Paper Stack are a perfect pair!

I used my Stamparatus to stamp the sentiment in Basic Black Archival ink on the Vellum and I have a quick tip video below. I chose to use vellum so you can still see the paper through it. Who wants to cover up such yummy looking cookies??

The colours I have used are taken directly from the Picture Perfect Paper Stack - Pool Party, Peekaboo Peach, Rich Razzleberry, Bermuda Bay and Lemon Lime Twist. i stamped whole sentiment in each colour and trimmed each individual saying out and then are arranged them over the black sentiment on the Vellum.

I added some interest to the Bermuda Bay Background using the sprinkles stamp also from the Birthday Wit stamp set in Versa Mark over the card.

The Stamparatus will available to purchase in the upcoming Annual catalogue in June.
It can used just like this to stamp multiple images on a card (but not this fast!)

Night in Bethlehem Back & White with Fresh Fig Christmas Card

Today I am participating in the Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop which is themed Black, White + 1. My chosen plus ONE is Fresh Fig which one of the 2017-2019 In Colours from Stampin' Up! and I paired these colours with the Night in Bethlehem stamp set from the 2017 Holiday catalogue.

I started this card my doing all the stamping I used Versamark ink which leaves the most perfect watermark to stamp the buildings repeatedly on the Fresh Fig card stock card front adding the Shepherd and his Lamb in the bottom right from the Night in Bethlehem stamp set. I also stamped from the same stamp set Mary, Joseph and the Donkey in Basic Black Archival ink on Whisper White card stock which I then die cut using the Bethlehem Edgelits dies in the Big Shot, I also die cut 2 Stitched Shapes Framelits using the squares in Whisper White and Fresh Fig card stocks. I arranged these elements into the stamped card front using Stampin' Dimensionals for the White Square Layer and stamped Mary, Joseph and Donkey. I attached the Fresh Fig stamped card front to a Thick Whisper White card base to completed the project.

Gold Thank You Eastern Palace Bundle Card

I adored how elegant this card by Katy Harrison is that I found on Pinterest. I recently remade it for my 2018-2018 Annual Catalogue Launch I made a few changes a few details to the card.

I used the Eastern Palace Speciality Paper strip on a Thick Very Vanilla Card base
with the Eastern Gold Vinyl stickers that I cut in half tucked under the paper. For the medallion I used two of the Eastern Medallion Dies cut them using the Prescision Plate in the Big Shot and sniped it out from the card stock so it is a single piece. I layered on top of this a gold foil circle and a Very Vanilla circle with a stamped thank you from the Eatern Beauty Stamp Set with Basic Black Archival Ink. I used Lots of dimension to take this simple elegant card to the next level.

Pieces & Patterns with Pick a Pattern DSP - International Blog Highlight May 2017 - Masculine Card

Today I am participating in an International Blog Highlight. The Theme is Masculine. I created this card using products from the upcoming 2017-2018 Annual Catalogue which Launches June 1st. I started with the Pick a Pattern Paper and co-ordinating Piece and Pattern stamp set. I kept it all fairly simple by matting my chosen paper in co-ordinating card stock in Basic Black and Emerald Envy and Flirty Flamingo. I did my stamping in Basic Black on both Sahara Sand and Whisper White card stock and punched using the co-ordindinating circle punches adding them with Stampin' Dimensionals all on a Sahara Sand card base.

The top 10 partcipants in the Blog Highlight get to go on a Blog Hop together. So please vote for me!!!

Celebrate Today Ghosting Technique - ESAD 2017 Retirement Blog Hop

Today I am participating in the ESAD (more info on the group below) Retirement Blog Hop with many of our other talent members. This card is an old favourite using the retiring Celebrate Today stamp set and was very well received when I taught it a few years ago in a class. I showed them how to use the Ghosting Technique to stamp onto Crumb Cake card stock in colour without discolouring the original ink. It is as simple as stamping in Whisper White ink drying it then stamping with desired colour over the to give true colour.

On this card I used Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay and So Saffron. I added the polka dot to the balloons in Whisper White ink. I added the Bow and Birthday on the sentiment strip in Archival Basic Black Ink. I used a Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker to add the ballon strings. To finish the sentiment I added birthday in Bermuda Bay and used the Triple Banner Punch to flag the end.

Layered Letters, Tin of Cards and 2015-2017 In Colours Smile Card

I have delved into my card box and found a few cards I have neglected to share with you all. I made this card as part of my catalogue launch way back in 2015 and most of the products used are now on the retiring list. I have used the 2015-2017 In Colors Tip Top Taupe, Mint Macron, Delightful Dijon, Watermelon Wonder and Cucumber Crush which are still available in a pack of 5 inks and card stock in A4 and 12x12 assorted packs. I stamped the SMILE sentiment from the Layered Letters which are also saying goodbye over the in colours overlapped circles in Basic Black Archival Ink.  I added a strip of the co ordinating Envelope Paper also on the retirement list which is still available under the co-ordinating card stock which I flagged the ends with the staying Banner Triple Punch. As a finishing touch I added some Baker's Twine and an older matching embellishment.

Birthday Bright with Playful Palette Card

I really can say I am not a FAN of he Playful Palette Paper Stack. I bought it thinking it would grow on me and some of the pieces have but more multicoloured swirly ones haven't so challenged myself to use them and I do like the end result. I kept it simple by stamping the sentiment from Birthday Bright stamp set in Archival Black Ink on Vellum. I added some Emanel Shapes in the co ordinating colours - Emerald Envy, Blushing Bride and Sweet Sugarplum. I adhered the vellum by folding up some Glue dots by adhering them behind the enamel shapes. To finish the card  I added some of the co ordinating Ruched Ribbon to finish the card.

Falling Flowers & Butterfly Basics and Neutrals Paper Stackwith #GDP076 #CTD432

I am still pulling out some of my unloved stamp sets to use, today's winner was Falling Flowers. I was inspired by the Global Design Project 076 - Case the Designer. I stamped the flowers and leaves from the Falling Flowers stamp set on Thick Whisper White with Archival Basic Black ink so I could use my Aqua Painter to colours the images using this weeks Color Throwdown Challenge #432. I have the colours in the picture below. I did messy colouring of all the colours and leaves with with a just damp aqua painter. I chose messy as I knew I would go outside the lines anyway so I made it a feature!!! I added a strip of Basic Grey Diagonal Stripe paper from Neutrals Designer Series Paper Stack in my #loveitchopit mission to finish of the card.

Here are the colours I chose from this weeks Color Throwdown Challenge

Up & Away Thinlits with Lift Me up with Markers card

I was inspired but a card I saw on Pinterest when I was making my Display Stamper Projects in October last year to make this card . I love this clean look and I am tending to lean this way recently with my projects. I coloured the stamped balloons from the Lift Me Up stamp set with our Stampin' Write Markers over the detailed lines in Calypso Coral, Bermuda bay and Peekaboo Peach. I cut the balloons using the Up & Away Thinlits in my Big Shot along with a few the clouds in the set. I added Stampin' Dimentionals to add dimension to some of the elements on the card. I added a sentiment for the same set directly to the card in Archival Basic Black to finish the card.

You've Got This, Diagonal Stripe, Perfectly Wrapped Card with WWYS #67 and GDP #039

I have a confession the You've Got This stamp set has long been neglected on my stamp self since last year, I even had a friend recently mention I should use it more and low and behold it was the stamp of the What Will You Stamp? challenge blog this week and I have teamed it up with the Global Design Project theme challenge - Get Well Soon

To start the card I stamped the flower from the You've Got This stamp set in Basic Black Archival Ink on Thick White card stock. I then took 3 of our NEW 2016-2018 In Color Ink Pads - Sweet Sugar Plum, Emerald Envy and Peekaboo Peach. I used our Blender Pens to colour in the flower. Next I took our new Diagonal background stamp and Ombre Rich Razzleberry Ink Pad. When using the Ombre Ink pad I ensured to ink up the stamp in a circular motion so you don't get the harsh lines of the individual colours in the pad. For the last layer I took a strip of Sweet Sugarplum card stock and stamped it with the dots from the Perfectly Wrapped in Sweet Sugarplum ink. I layered these stamped pieces together on a Thick Whisper White card stock. I stamped the sentiment from You've Got This onto a piece of vellum in Rich Razzleberry ink and wrapped that around the card to finish it off.

To order any of the products I have used on this project and more simply go to my SHOP NOW button above to go to my Online store or contact me to place an order.

I can also show you how to make this card at a party with you and your friends. Just contact me to organise a time to enjoy the amazing benefits our hostess can earn and spend on anything in our catalogues.
