Stampin’ Up! Eden’s Garden First Play and Unboxing

I was so very excited to FINALLY receive and open the COMING VERY SOON Stampin' Up! Eden's Garden Suite of products. I shared my Unboxing of the Suite and First Play in a recent video. These products are available on November 2nd or NOW if you would like to Join my Wicked Woody's Team.

The amazing Ever Eden Paper really stood out to me especially this ombre pattern and I paired it with the Evening Evergreen Cotton Paper that a scrunched up to give it this amazing texture. I also used the Soft Succulent Cotton Paper for the sentiment that I stamped on and cut using the Eden Dies and backed with the matching cardstock to give it a bit more stability. I placed it over a Gold Foil Eden Die. I finished the card with a few Garden Gems.

Stampin’ Up! Hello, Dear Friend All Inclusive Kit

I had fun creating the Hello, Dear Friend All Inclusive Card Kit in a recent VIDEO. I really love how pretty the kit is with a fab mix of sentiments, VELLUM (yes that is meant to be in caps and yelled) and gorgeous Copper Foil. They came together really easily and come with everything that you need to complete the 12 cards including a stamp set, adhesive and block to stamp withy and envelopes. A few products that would go perfectly with the card kit are Champagne Rhinestones and Wink Of Stellar Glitter Brush.

Stampin' Up! Tasteful Touches and Tasteful Labels Dies Hello Card

I couldn't wait any longer to play with my brand new Stampin' Up! 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue products I received a few days ago in my pre order (amazing perk of being a demonstrator). I have used the Tasteful Touches stamp set and matching Tasteful Label Dies to make this monochromatic card using Gray Granite ink and card stock, Versamark ink and Braided Linen Trim. I love the embossed texture the die gives the edge of the label and that repeated stamping in 2 different inks but still the same colour ink and watermark in the same card stock tie this card together. These stamps and dies are available to customers on the 3rd of June.

Stampin’ Up! Honey Bee and Golden Honey Paper Card

I was asked to present that Stampin' Up! Honey Bee Bundle and Sale-A-Bration Golden Honey Paper (FREE with orders over $90) at her Team Training Day. This is card we all made as a make and take and I shared it further at my Catalogue Launch all over the last weekend. I made up my final left over kits in a VIDEO earlier this week. I paired the Honey bee stamp set with Momento ink and Stampin' Blends for the main panel and adding in some circle punches and Classic Label Punch to perfectly with with the stamp set and Golden Honey Paper.

Watercolour Lifting with Heat Embossing using Flower Patch and Floral Wings Stamps with Hello You Thinlits and Global Design Project #026 Card with Video

I have been wanting to try the Watercolor Lifting with Heat Embossing that I saw Jennifer McGuire do a few weeks ago and this weeks Global Design Project #026 was the perfect opportunity.

I stared this card with the Watercolor Lifting with Heat Embossing technique. I have done it little differently to the original but the result is the same. Starting with a piece of Watercolour Paper and took some of our reinkers in Blackberry Bliss, Rich Razzleberry, Rose Red and Melon Mambo and an Aqua painter and liberally applied the colour making sure to blend where the colours met. When this was dry (if you are impatient you could use your heat tool) I mounted a number of flowers and leaves from the Flower Patch and Floral Wings Stamp Sets inked them with Versamark and covered in Clear embossing powder and melted the powder with the Heat Tool. To make this technique what it is I wet the entire watercolour piece and let it sit for a bit and mopped it off with a paper towel (repeat this step if necessary). This reveals a lighter background and the darker heat embossed embossed images. I layered a piece of Blackberry Bliss card stock onto a Thick Whisper White card base. I added the watercolour piece with double Stampin' Dimensionals. To make the sentiment piece I punched a piece of Whisper White card stock with the 2" Circle punch and stamped it with the same stamps with stamped off Blackberry Bliss. I die cut 2 Hellos from the Hello You Thinlits using the Big Shot with Precision Plate and Die Brush to release the card stock. I layered these together over the circle punched piece and adhered them to complete the card.

I did create a video finishing off the card off and some of my creative process, be warned I was sick and did cough and sniffle as I was going. You can watch it on Katch

Going Global and Hello Stamp Sets and Going Places Paper with Mojo Monday #430 Birthday Card

A change of pace today and a masculine card ready for my husband birthday this week.

I started this card with Mojo Monday sketch #430. I chose papers from the Going Places Paper Stack and adhered the Thick Whisper White card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I then stamped the birthday boy sentiment from the Sale-a-Bration Hello stamp set in Lost Lagoon and flagged the end of the paper strip. and adhered it with Stampin' Dimensionals. Next I stamped the Lucky Stars stamp from the Going Global stamp set in Delightful Dijon on Very Vanilla card stock and adhere it before the Birthday Boy using Snail Adhesive. Also using the Going Global stamp set I stamped the compass in stamped off Sahara Sand and the heart in Mossy Meadow on Very Vanilla card stock and matted it on Lost Lagoon with Snail adhesive and adhered the piece with Stampin' Dimensionals to finish off the card.
