I have used the To Market & Naturally Gilded Designer Series Papers in a recent video to create Floating Panels with Window Sheets. I used the Merriest Trees Stamp Set for the sentiment and finished with Metallic Gems. Blooming Pearls and Tinsel Gems.

Stampin’ Up! Sweet Ice Cream and Ice Cream Corner Shaker Card

My Wicked Woody's Team requested I show them how to Emboss on our Window Sheets so I created this Shaker Card using the Stampin' Up! Sweet Ice Cream stamp set and matching Ice Cream Corner Paper and Sprinkles that I shared at our Team Meeting and in a recent VIDEO. I hope my video makes this style of shaker card less intimidating fo you to make. I just love the fun and sound of a shaker card how about you.

Making Christmas Bright Double Z Fold Card Christmas Stampathon 2019

As soon as I found out this months Christmas Stampathon 2019 was "Movement" I wanted use the Stampin' Up! Making Christmas Bright stamp set and matching Christmas Bulb Builder Punch to create these dangling bulbs that hang perfectly from the Z fold card. I used stamped vellum for the front panel and accent stamps from the same set for the additional panels. I hope you can head over and join this months Challenge.

The Christmas Stampathon 2019 is a venture with three of my Demo buddies Ruth Trice 'Artful Stampin' from the UK, Denise Garrison 'Lady Bug Stampin' from USA, Rosalie Desmond from Australia for us to be a bit more prepared and ready for the busy Christmas season.

Stampin' Up! Butterfly Gala Shaker Card

I made a promise to use my left over Stampin' Up! Vellum Butterfly Gala Butterflies in a shaker card and here it is! I have used Gingham Gala Paper and Stitched Rectangle Dies for the frame. Window Sheet and Foam Adhesive Strips to create the Shaker and Gingham Gala Sequins for a final pop. I love using my leftover bits to make another card. Do keep or toss bits like these butterflies?

Double Take Stamp Card - Stampin' Dreams May Blog Hop

I am playing along with a brand new Blog Hop today Stampin Dreams I hope you enjoy and I hope to lay along with these regularly. I have a confession to make, I bought these AMAZING Sprinkles Embellishments - full of various sequins and pearls from the Occasions catalogue and not used them yet and I was compelled to use them before they retire at the end of this month. I have paired them with a shaker card. The hero of the card in my opinion is the Thanks from the Double Take stamp set that I stamped on Vellum in Peekaboo Peach and Pool Party ink which is a 2 step stamp set. I paired it with the Cupcakes & Carousels Paper Stack which i stamped on using the Carousel Birthday and Lift me Up Stamp set using Peekaboo Peach,  Watermelon Wonder and Pool Party Inks . I cut a frame from the card front sized piece using my Stampin' Trimmer. I suspended the vellum across the fram added a Window Sheet and then added Foam Adhesive Strips. Before I added it to card I did add some glue to the base piece and added the sprinkles to it so there were some embellishments around the card even when it is standing added a whole lot of  embellishments and put the frame onto a Whisper White card base.

Lift Your Spirits - Lift Me Up with Ink Smooshing Technique Card

At a recent class we played with the Ink Smooshing Technique with 3 different paper mediums - this card is using Thick Whisper White which works quite well if you use a smaller amount of water compared with watercolour and shimmer paper. For this technique I used So Saffron and Peekaboo Peach as shown in the video below. I added the hot air balloons from the Lift Me Up stamp set over the technique using the colours shown below to the top 2/3 of the card front. I added the Sentiment also from the Lift me Up stamp set. I added some vellum die cut clouds from the matching Up & Away Thinlits and added them to card and a tied knot of matching Dapper Denim Ruched Ribbon as finishing touches.

Balloon Builders with Sale-a-Bration Glimmer Assortment Pack #WWYS105

I had a BBB (Big Brown Box) arrive a few days ago it was full of some card stock and other essentials that I was getting low on but I could not wait to break into my 6x6 Glimmer Paper Assortment Pack #loveitchopit which is one of the NEW FREE Sale-a-Bration items for every $90 you spend in an order till 31st March 2017. I made an Ink Smooshed Background using Soft Sky and Pool Party on Shimmer Paper. I have a video below showing how I do this with our Window Sheets. I used this week What Will You Stamp? #105 Challenge - Balloon Builders. I stamped the Balloons in the 3 colours in the Glimmer Paper - Bermuda Bay, Sweet Sugarplum and Mint Macron. I really like how they look transparent just like my favourite type of balloons. You can add any of the colours of glimmer paper to match the balloons as your next layer. I added Smokey Slate ink strings and sentiment and a a tied knot of Metallic Ribbon also a FREE Sale-a-Bration item to finish the card.

Peaceful Pines and Christmas Pines with Mica Flakes Shaker Christmas Card

I have one final Christmas projects to share with you for the year. A super simple Shaker Card!

The card base is our Note Cards and Envelopes in Crumb Cake. I started with the piece of Whisper White card stock that could actually be in any festive colour. I stamped the star and dot stamp from the Christmas Pines stamps in Crumb cake and used the tree framelit from the Perfect Pines Framelits to make the window using the Big Shot. I then stamped the tree on the card base in Real Red Ink from the Peaceful Pines stamps through the Whisper White stamped piece for perfect placement. To create the shaker I attached a piece of Window Sheet to the back of the stamped Whisper White piece making sure to liberally use the Embossing Buddy her the sheet. Next I attached Foam Adhesive Strips to the outside of the tree she making sure the join is snug so no shaker bits come out. I added the Mica Flakes to the stamped tree on the card and attached the Whisper White piece over it pressing down on the foam adhesive to ensure it adheres properly. For a finishing touch I added a the Candy Cane Lane Baker's Twine to the bottom of note card a few ties finished with a bow! Now Its ready to SHAKE!

Confetti Celebration and Balloon Builders Window Sheet Card using #GDP045

I have been inspired by both Jennifer McGuire and Wendy Cranford's Window Sheets cards over the last bit. They really intimidated me but I bit the bullet and kept it really really simple and incorporated this weeks Global Design Project # 045 Colour Challenge 

To start the card I took one of our 12x12 Window Sheets and trimmed it to a card front size  the scored and folded it in half. Next I cut 4 pieces of Whisper White card stock and trimmed it to the width of the card and approx 2.5" tall. I took one of these pieces to decorate for the card front I used the Confetti Celebration stamp set using Basic Black Archival Ink I stamped the Garland and Time to Party Sentiment, I also stamped the Happy Birthday on one of the other pieces for the inside as well. Using a Smokey Slate and Melon Mambo Stampin' Write Markers I coloured the garland and both sentiments. I stamped two balloons from the Balloon Builder stamp set one in Smokey Slate and Melon Mambo Ink and punched them out using the Balloon Bouquet Punch and also two plain white balloons for later. To stamp the YAY from the Confetti Celebration stamp set I took a piece of Vellum and stamped it with Melon Mambo Ink, I did find it difficult to get the image solid on the vellum so used my Blender Pen to smooth it out, dried the ink with my Heat Tool and trimmed it out using my scissors and adhered it to the front panel using a few drops of TomBow Multipurpose Glue. Next I stamped the two balloon strings with the String stamp from Balloon Builder stamp set in Staz On ink directly onto the front of the Window Sheet being careful not to wobble as it is such a slick surface. Now to assemble all the pieces I started with the Whisper White pieces starting with the front piece lining it up at the bottom of the window sheet and adding another on the inside to cover the adhesive and repeated this for the other flap as well. I added the balloons offset to the front of the card bast and covered them on the inside with the blank balloons. The last 2 finishing touches I added Clear Wink Of Stella to the garland and balloons and a thin strip of Silver Glimmer paper to the top of each side of the card for a POP.
