Today I am playing along the the ESAD Fancy Fold & 3D Projects Blog Hop. I unearthed one of my old fancy fold templates that makes a Side Step Card and wanted to recreate a previous project of mine that using the Lovely as Tree stamp set but in my updated version I have used the Season Like Christmas stamp set from Stampin Up! in the 2017 Holiday Catalogue.
I started the card by making my card base in Soft Sky card stock using a standard A4 card base and cutting and scoring using my Stampin' Trimmer as shown below. Next I made the side and Back Panels from Whisper White card stamping them with the tree base from Season Like Christmas stamp set in stamped off Wild Wasabi ink, I stamped and an extra Wild Wasabi ink tree to the larger panel to create some depth, adding the trunk in Soft Suede ink for the smaller panel and Crumb Cake for the larger panel. The paint swoosh in Crumb Cake for the Tree Shadows and in Soft Sky ink for the Sky. I stamped and fussy cut 3 Feature trees in Wild Wasabi ink Base, Old Olive ink for the tree detail and Soft Suede ink for the trucks adding the bauble detail on one of tress with Rich Razzleberry ink. I cut the lower leaves off one of the other trees to make it shorter adhering the using Stampin' Dimensionals. In the Big Shot I die cut the trees and deer from the Card Front Thinlits with Vellum and Poinsettia flower in Silver Glimmer. I sponged and tinted the Vellum trees with Rich Razzleberry ink and deer in Soft Suede ink adding them to the middle fold of the card. The sentiment is from the Hostess stamp set Merry Patterns. In Old Olive Ink and stamped off Rich Razzleberry onto Whisper White card stock. I matted all the stamped panels with Wild Wasabi card stock and adhered them to the card to finish the project.
