Watercolor Christmas with Stampin' Blends

Say hello to a new world of colourful creativity! Meet Stampin’ Blends, artist-quality alcohol markers in 12 exclusive Stampin’ Up! colours. The Stampin' Blends will be available individually and pairs but work best when using the light and dark pair of colours available in 12 of our amazing colours. To cover all the blending bases, we’re also offering a limited-time 16-card project kit and stamp set with beautiful line-art images. I really happy to have these available for you to purchase. They have made my colouring so much quicker and easier even a simple card like this using the Watercolour Christmas stamp set.

To make this card I have stamped the 3 trees using the Watercolor Christmas stamp set with Memento Ink onto Whisper White Card Stock, this is the ink we recommend to use with Stampin' Blends. Be sure to let it dry before you start colouring as it might smear. I coloured the trees using Pool Party, Calypso Coral, Rich Razzleberry and Pink Pirouette. The way I find easiest to colour is to used the lightest marker over half the image added the darkest marker over most of the legated and then blended over the whole image with the lightest marker to create a shaded image. I added the sentiment from the same Watercolor Christmas stamp set in Rich Razzleberrry ink. I matted this coloured in piece with Soft Sky card stock onto a Crumb Cake card base. As a finishing touch I added two silver stars from the Metallic Enamel Shapes.

Watercolour Christmas and Cheers to the Year Christmas Card

I am back with an other mixed metallics Christmas Card made with Watercolour Christmas stamp set and Year of Cheer Speciality Designer Series Paper.

Do you like the current Mixed metallic Trend? Will you be using it in your Holiday Cards?

I started the card by choosing the gold gingham Year of Cheer paper. I wanted to make it the hero of the card so added 3 of coordinating Year of Cheer Washi Tape adding a gold Foil Snowflake. Next using my Big Shot I die cut 2 Stitched Shapes Framelits later is Vellum and smaller in the Champagne Foil sheets. I Silver Heat Embossed the sentiment from the Watercolor Wishes stamp set I adhered with circles together hiding the adhesive under the embossed words and using Stampin' Dimensionals to add it to the snowflake.  The panel is matted with a piece of Vellum on a Smokey Slate card base.

Watercolour Christmas with Year of Cheer Suite Christmas Card

I may have had a little too much fun mixing metallics with all the beautiful products from the Stampin' Up! 2017 Holiday Catalogue, using the Year of Cheer Suite which is full of foil and shine.

The Year of Cheer Speciality Paper is so beautiful with lots of foil and I started my card with a piece of the burst pattern. I wrapped it with 3 of the matching Year of Cheer foil Washi Tape to ground the focal embellishment. I started that embellishment with the Oh Joy sentiment from Watercolor Christmas stamp set which I Gold Heat Embossed on Whisper White Card Stock and punched out using the Everyday Label Punch. I matted this with a strip of our NEW Champagne Foil paper which has the most beautiful pink hue to it, I flagged the ends using the Triple Banner Punch. i finished the embellishment stack by using the Foil Snowflakes as a base, which I prefer to call Dollies as we don't have snowy winter or christmas where I live in Australia. I matted the card front to a piece of Smokey Slate card stock then a Thick Whisper White card base to finish the card.

Watercolour Christmas Project Kit Christmas Cards

On Instagram recently I shared that I made the Watercolor Christmas Project Kit from Stampin' Up! in a few hours at a recently at a hospital visit. These really came together so easily and I needed no space at all. I only had a hospital table to use which is TINY!!

It really was as easy as using the coordinating Watercolour Christmas stamp set with our Archival Basic Black ink to stamp the sentiments on the die cut pieces, cutting the Mini sequin trim into the correct sizes and adhering them together. Making them certainly passes the time during my hospital appointment and now I have 20 cards ready to send out for Christmas, including Gold Foil lined envelopes!!!!

Season Like Christmas with Painted Autumn Christmas Card ESAD Blog Hop

Today I am participating in the ESAD Holiday Catalogue Blog Hop. I am sharing a Christmas card that I made using the Season Of Christmas stamp set which is a 2 step stamping set from Stampin' Up! that creates this beautiful tree along with some lovely sentiments that I have not used here on this card but will hard with you in future projects.

I started this card by stamping the Tree from the Season of Christmas Stamp set, starting with the leaves in Garden Green and Tranquil Tide inks on Very Vanilla card stock. I added the trunk in Soft Suede ink. Using Versamark ink I stamped the baubles on the tree, coated them in Gold Embossing Power and melted using our Heat Tool. I added the the star to the top of tree from the same stamp set in Crushed Curry ink. I added the Oh Joy sentiment from the Watercolor Christmas stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink. I matted the piece into some of the Painted Autumn paper and finally Cherry Cobbler card stock before adding it to a Thick Very Vanilla card base

Painted Harvest with Watercolor Christmas Card

I really like the NEW and coming soon September 1st Painted Harvest stamp set,  it is intended to make a sun flower but I like to see other options and saw a gorgeous wreath. I paired it with the sentiment from the Watercolour Christmas stamps set which pairs with the Project Kit with the same name. Im really going to love these sentiments as you cannot stamp them straight which suits me perfectly as I never can stamp straight anyway.

I stamped both layers of the flower from the Painted Harvest stamp set in Lemon Lime Twist and Garden Green inks. I omitted the flower centre to keep it looking like a wreath on Whisper White card stock.  I used the flower centre detail stamp to add berries in Cherry Cobbler ink around the wreath. While I had the Cherry Cobbler ink out I stamped the sentiment under the wreath. I added the card front to a Whisper White card base and a final touch of a few rhinestones to finish off the card.

These stamps are not Available TILL September 1st but we do have these avail as a PRE RELEASE RIGHT NOW
