This is my example for the October SU! Colour Challenge. This month's inspiration image has me thinking of a dusky sunset so I created this scene using the Awash In Beauty Designer Series Paper, Peaceful Beauty and Bleassings Of Home Stamp Sets, Blending Brushes, Stampin' Blends and the Stamparartus.
I started by Blending both Basic Gray and Balmy Blue to the Blushing Bride Designer Series Paper leaving a halo of the unblended paper in the middle. Next I filled in the woods using the tree stamps in both full strength and stamped off images. The stag and doe were stamped under the woods using the Stamparatus. I coloured them using Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends and Blushing bridge to the ears using a Water Painter, I then restamped the images to make the lines more bold. Using the Stamparatus again I stamped the sentiment from Blessing Of Home Stamp set, that I stamped in Balmy Blue first then directly over it with Basic Gray to give a slight blue bloom to it.
